On this particular trip, I traveled over eight hours from Dover, Delaware, to Columbia, South Carolina, feeling exhausted. I called the hotel to ask if my room would be available before 3 PM, and I received excellent customer service from Andrena Williams. When she answered the phone, she was very pleasant and reassuring, telling me my room would be ready early. When I arrived at the hotel, exhausted from the trip, Andrena already had my keys pulled and ready for me to go to my room. The customer service at this hotel was outstanding, from the housekeepers to the food service staff. This was an amazing trip at a fantastic hotel.

I asked the manager Phillip about canceling my reservations for the next 4 nights and he told me there would be no charge for canceling. I was polite and just wanted to stay at a closer location to the military base. But!! Now Phillip is saying that he offered me a new room and told me it is not refundable. Now I am out $600.00. Do not stay here unless you want to be told you are a liar and get ripped off. The hotel was disgusting and not worth the money you would put in to staying there.

There was a banana peel in the bathroom trash can and the trash located in the room had discarded paper towels. The showers was not cleaned prior to my entry and they were clearly pubic hairs on the perimeter of it. The bedroom mirror also had what looked to be sputum from a previous occupant that was not cleaned by whoever was tasked to clean the room. Very unfortunate experience in the first bedroom but the front desk staff immediately moved us to a different room. Needless to say this was our first and last visit to this location
