  My husband and i stayed here for the first time for my birthday. We were extremely impressed from the valet service to the bartenders at the bar to the beautiful room. Lake is an amazing bartender and welcomed us every time we stopped at the bar before dinner and after dinner. The location of the hotel was perfect because it was right off of King street and society st. We were able to walk down to the pineapple fountain in minutes and walk up to upper king street. We will definitely be back soon.

  We recently stayed two nights at the Richemont Hotel in Charleston. We enjoy boutique hotels, and the Richemont is truly outstanding. The staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful, and consistently available. LaTonya, who manages the property, went out of her way to assist us. Our room had a lighting issue—so little light that we had to use our cell phone flashlights to see into our suitcases. When we mentioned this to the front desk, they said they would send LaTonya. She knocked on our door within fifteen minutes, which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. She immediately saw how dim the room was and said she could bring in additional lighting. Within a couple of hours, she had procured and assembled extra lamps. It was clear she took extra time out of her busy schedule to make sure we were comfortable. What a delight it was for us to have the light. Before we left, we asked to see her so we could thank her personally and express our appreciation to her and the entire staff. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We also loved the morning coffee and croissants, and we visited Christophe Chocolate Patissier across the street more than once. :)

  The Hotel was in a great Walkable location to everything in the district. I did not need a car. The room was gorgeous. Well appointed. I loved the fridge with the drawers, fancy tea selection and the expresso machine. The hotel felt intimate and very upscale and comfortable enough to feel like home for a few days. I loved the sage green color of the paint in the room. Very calming. The built ins in the room felt like I was in a master suite in a fancy mansion. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. I had a small mishap and they were very accommodating when they did not have to be. Very thankful. I stayed there. New Years for a few days. It was very quiet.

  Beyond amazing! The room was spacious and perfectly located—just steps from shopping and restaurants. The in-room Nespresso was the ideal way to start the day, paired with delicious fresh croissants and lovely conversations with Aladin in the lobby. Latonya offered fantastic recommendations on the best spots around town, and I truly enjoyed learning more about the history of the property from Isabelle. The Two Bit Club was outstanding—I’ll be dreaming of those short ribs for months to come.
