The room we were given was room 721 that they were going to retire and not rent out. Nonetheless, they did not retire it and we got it. The TV was broke (no signal) and no hangers. We asked to have hangers brought to us and well as have the TV fixed and neither one of these requests got resolved. Finally, when I went back to the receptionist and complained, the maintenance man came up and said that the internet signal had been out for a while in that room as well as room 621 and I asked then why would they give us a room that they knew had these issues and the receptionist acted shocked and said that she didn't know that the room was like that for sometime. Anyway, they finally moved us to another room, which was a little bit better, but the air conditioner rattled and squeaked so loud that it was difficult to sleep. And to top it all off, after I moved to the other room, the maintenance man mentioned again that the room would not be given to anyone else but when we were leaving, two ladies at the elevator were talking about the hotel and had the same issues as we did and they were moved to 721, the room we move out of, so they gave this bad room to someone else after they said, again, that they were retiring the room. Unbelievable!! Besides all of this, the rooms were really outdated and old. The bathroom door was peeling at the bottom, the shower was old plus there was no parking on the day we arrived and we had to park in the garage across the street. At checkout, I asked to speak to the Manager and the receptionist said she was in a meeting (a total lie) and gave me her card and said that she would be calling me. All I want was something off of the room for all my inconvenience. I will never stay there again.

This was one stop on our road trip. Parking costs $15 per day. Parking spots near the hotel are often full, so we had to park at Publix.
The front desk staff were indifferent, and the room was not very clean. I noticed popcorn under the bed, which suggests housekeeping did not clean thoroughly.
The air conditioning in the room was strange and extremely loud. Even after turning it off, there seemed to be some kind of ventilation unit or engine running underneath, which made it difficult for me to sleep. In the middle of the night, I heard several women talking in the hallway. I am not sure whether they were staff or guests. My dog became very alert and started growling. Even after my dog calmed down, I could still hear the voices through my earplugs.
Overall, my experience was not good.

It’s a fairly basic hotel. Their staffs are friendly but they forget to provide room service, especially they asked if I need it and I said yes.

The location was ideal as we had our father on life support around the corner at the hospital. Rooms can use updating but otherwise clean. Jessica Summers the front office manager is what earns this review rating. Insensitive, unprofessional and down right disgusting as a human being. We had parking for diamond elite and not once were we able to use it (which I understand first come first serve and we were at the hospital 12+ hours a day). Parking is limited to begin with and when parking is no longer available you have to park on the 3rd floor of the Publix parking garage and walk over to the hotel. The first night this was an issue I called the hotel to ask about parking as I couldn’t find any and Jessica answered the phone and was very standoffish and advised me that it was out of her hands and directed me to the parking garage. I ended up paying $24 to park in the dirt lot next to the hotel for convenience as my father was touch and go and we simply couldn’t risk having to run to the parking garage if we could a phone call. Flash forward to the night we had to take him off of life support. No parking again. Went in to speak with her and explained the situation at hand while crying. She again, very dismissive, insensitive and rude. Crying and exhausted I said “please have mercy on my soul” she then replied “I don’t have to do anything but my job”. This is what you want as the face of your hotel? Promote TY, she’s a sweetheart. Compassionate and friendly and hugged me when we arrived back at the hotel after his passing. The lady who sat along side of Jessica the night that she was nasty in person then made comments every and anytime I came downstairs. “OH THERE HE IS” Respectfully ladies, grow up this isn’t high school is a business where you deal with every walk of life. This is not a coachable moment, this should be grounds for termination.
