- MLM. L.Jan 29, 20261.0I booked this Holiday Inn Express intending to sleep here, but the property was in a condition I found unacceptable. Renovation/construction impact was not clearly communicated ahead of time; I only noticed a small sign at the front desk and then saw it throughout the building. The hallway looked like an active work area (flooring partially removed/covered and areas blocked off), and the exterior view from the room was directly onto multiple storage containers/material and debris. I was offered a room change, but the rooms I was shown had multiple cleanliness/maintenance issues: heavy dust buildup on the air vent/AC components, visible staining around the tub drain, patched/unfinished-looking ceiling areas, and rust/brown staining on bathroom fixtures. There were also marks and wear on doors/frames that made the room feel poorly maintained. Because of the overall condition and the renovation impact, I did not feel comfortable staying and ultimately cancelled and left. Staff did offer to move me, but it didn’t address the underlying issues.
