Absolutely satisfied with my one-night stay last weekend. The room was very clean and looks recently updated. I checked carefully and saw no mold or mildew, and the caulking around the sink and shower/tub looked newer. The tub was nearly clean enough for a soak. The shower had hot water with good pressure, which I appreciated.
The microwave and mini fridge were spotless, and the carpet was clean enough that I felt comfortable walking barefoot. I really like the layout with the sink and mirror, hair dryer outside the shower/toilet area—very convenient when more than one person is getting ready. The full-length mirror was also a nice touch.
The bed and bedding were very comfortable, with nice fluffy pillows. Towels were a bit thin but fresh, clean, and smelled properly laundered (bleach clean)—not worn or tattered. The amenities were La Coupe brand, which I appreciate because they use refillable dispensers and reduce plastic waste.
There are blackout curtains, though you can hear traffic/ road noise, and the walls are a bit thin, so I could hear faint neighboring guests talking. That said, I was so tired it didn’t bother me.
I really appreciated the hot and cold breakfast bar, which had plenty of options:
scrambled eggs, sausage patties, baked potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, bread, muffins, butter and jam, oranges, bananas, juice, coffee, water, and packets of Quaker instant oatmeal. There was also a self-serve yogurt machine where you squeeze fresh yogurt and add your own toppings, plus a pancake machine (just press a button—no pouring batter). It was everything we needed for a filling and hearty breakfast, and the breakfast area was clean.
I went to breakfast around 6:10 a.m., so I can’t comment on whether it gets crowded later, but there seemed to be plenty of seating. My only wish is that they offered decaf tea, since we don’t drink coffee or caffeine.
I didn’t use the airport shuttle, but I did see a large shuttle van outside early in the morning.
The lobby could use more decor to look more inviting, but that didn’t matter to me since the room was clean and breakfast was good. Parking is complimentary, there’s a small and clean 24-hour gym with free weights and cycle machine accessible by key card with a water dispenser, and laundry machines take quarters ($2.50 wash / $2.50 dry). If they have an indoor pool that would have really made my day!
Service was neutral—nothing remarkable either way.
Stayed in room 318. The only elevator takes a few mins at times but not too bad.
I paid $96 plus tax ($127 total) through a blind deal on Priceline in. I usually stay at Hyatt/ Marriott/ Hilton properties and therefore didn’t earn points here, but for the price, this was the best value I’ve found in the area.
