Tiequanna at the front desk was super helpful and nice. The breakfast could have had a slighty better quality for the limited options. Still a great stay overall

I would never recommend the Hampton Inn in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The customer service at the front desk is horrendous, rude and disrespectful Towards the customers, I watched and listened from a distance. I was there a few months ago, and I called up to find out the names of the weekend people. There was a Person name Sam there who claims to be the GM. I think Hilton better rethink who they’re putting in these hotels or they need to retrain people and the protocol of customer service think before you go to that hotel. The Holiday Inn, which is not that far from there, even though it’s not the greatest hotel, but I found the customer service was wonderful .
Jen and Tabitha You need to go back to school and learn your customer service because it is horrible disrespectful don’t ever judge a book by its cover and you both do that. Take a good hard look in the mirror yourself before you speak to people the way you do in Sam if you call yourself a GM you should be fired. You have people at the front desk treating people with disrespect. Take a look at yourself also cause you’re no price package either not at all.

Upon arrival the person at the front desk was pleasant and polite. I went up to my level and immediately after getting out of the elevator there was a pile of trash in the hallway. Walking down the hallway to my room the hallways were freezing. I got into my room walked in and the first thing I noticed was the ceiling was falling apart in an area. I went to go get ice in the ice and vending machine room and there's no vending machine at all. My room was a king size bed. The king size bed did not have king size pillows. Plus the pillows were horrible. Picture a marshmallow but cut it paper thin, that's your pillow. Horrible night sleep. I went to the front desk at 5am to ask for a different pillow and was told there were none. At least the showers were warm and had good pressure. I went down to the Continental breakfast and after seeing the minimal selection I just left instead of eating anything. I won't be back. Ever!
