DO NOT stay at this hotel. When we arrived on Friday there was one working elevator. AC was not working properly and took 4 calls to the front desk for the GM to come fix it the next day after not sleeping all night because it was 74 degrees. Broken handles on the closet. Mold in the bathroom Sunday we had to carry our bags down 6 flights of stairs because the last elevator broke. One of the rooms in our group had no top safety lock and we got attitude from staff when we asked to have one installed. GM did finally fix the air and was nice but overall the staff was horrible
I got an eye roll and attitude from the front desk when I asked what the corporate number was because the stay was so horrible. The first woman told me “there is none you can only called the GM”. When we tried to complain all I was told is well we’re going to renovate this year/ they should be condemned and renovate now.
Housekeeping was snickering at guests when trying to lug our things down the stairs. I have two torn rotator cuffs and I’m
In extreme pain now. One of the young girls in our room has been coughing and sneezing since being exposed to the mold in the bathroom
Housekeeping also did not care if you had a DND sign on. They opened our door at 8am when we weren’t checking out until the next day
Gate to exit parking garage didn’t work. Had to buzz for help.

Just a list of inconveniences my party and I experienced:
-There is genuinely no pool or free breakfast. Fitness center was not open. WiFi did not work.
-Only one out of 3 elevators was working. On top of that, on our check out Day, the one working elevator stopped working and we had to carry our luggage down 7/8 floors of steps
-you could see into other showers/bathrooms through the vents in the bathroom (seriously disturbing)
-my friend lost her wallet after leaving it the hotel room(not while traveling)
-Half of the rooms in our party had no working AC or microwave. The rooms were boiling
These inconveniences aren’t really the issue, because these are typical travel issues that can arrive. But this hotels lack of communication and compensation is absolutely unacceptable. Every time we brought up each of these issues, we were met with uninterested and rude responses from hotel staff. They were genuinely unhelpful about each of these events. With the elevator not working, we passed several staff members on the way down the steps with our luggage and not even offering to help bring things down. There was supposed to be a tunnel to get to the convention center that we were attending during our stay, and when we asked how to find it, they just told us to figure it out… even though we originally heard this information from Hilton staff… The staff here were just truly helpless and had no hospitality training. It makes me wonder what requirements they even had to meet, if any at all, to get this job. I expect a compensation to this, but knowing the hotel, we probably won’t get it even though we and many other people leaving reviews here are deserving of one. No other hotel I’ve ever stayed at has treated its guests this badly.
I'm sorry, I usually don't do negative reviews but I have to for here. 1. My roommates wallet went missing in the hotel, and the staff were not communicating with us on the matter at all. 2. My fellow colleagues also found that you could see into other bathrooms from the shower vent on the walls, that is absolutely unacceptable. 3. All elevators broke the day we left (today), and we all had to bring our luggage down from the 7th floor, other families as well, and no one was offered help or compensation. 4. I had recently read other reviews, and found mw's experience where that reviewer lost their mother and dealt with untrained staff who were not able to take the necessary steps to save this woman. She died in this hotel just last month.
I've heard other unfortunate stories from many people during this conference here in Providence, so please if you're here for a trip, go somewhere else. This is not a personal attack on anyone specific that works at the hotel, but something needs to change, immediately .

This was the worst hotel and customer service experience I have ever had. My wallet was stolen with my cards, ID, and insurance. When I raised my issue to 5 separate staff members, they expressed no concern and were incredibly unhelpful. Their communication across departments was absolutely horrendous. I was given different information about the status of my request from day to day. Any time I wanted progress or an update, I had to visit the front desk myself and ask. They told me on 5 separate occasions that they would call me with an update at a certain time. I NEVER received a single call from them. On top of this, I received no compensation for my stolen wallet, no discount on my stay, etc. They also said they have “never received a complaint in 10 years”, but I overheard at least 5 separate guests complain during my stay.
In addition to this, they advertised a pool as well as free breakfast, and offered neither. Out of 3 elevators, only one was working, and it frequently broke down. There was no ventilation in our room. Please save yourself from staying in this hotel and book The Graduate instead.

When we entered our room, we were disappointed to find that it smelled like smoke and that the toilet was continuously running with very loud water pressure. I notified the front desk, and a maintenance person came to take a look. He was honest and well-intentioned, but explained that he was not properly equipped to make the repair quickly and that it could take several hours. He also shared that his supervisor was unavailable and that, since the hotel was fully booked, we could not be moved to another room.
The front desk explained that there was nothing that could be done. I wish they had made more of an effort to demonstrate that every option had truly been exhausted. The only option offered was to let maintenance attempt the repair, knowing it could take “hours,” and this was around 5:00 PM. The maintenance person was the only one who seemed to be actively trying to help, and I appreciated his honesty about the situation.
Out of curiosity, I checked the toilet tank myself and noticed that the flapper gasket was missing, which explained why the toilet continued running. This raised concerns that the issue had either been overlooked during room cleaning or that the room was assigned despite a known problem.
Given the circumstances, my family decided to cancel our stay, request a refund, and drive back home to Connecticut instead. This meant trading in a roughly $600 hotel stay and commuting about three hours each way, each day, for a three-day volleyball tournament. The bright side is that we saved the $600, but it did require a significant amount of time behind the wheel.
While I was not upset, I was disappointed by the lack of empathy from the front desk. The interaction gave the impression that situations like this may be common, which was disheartening.
The property itself was nice, but overall the experience felt more like a motel than what I would typically expect from a Hilton-branded hotel.
