Stayed one night while traveling for business. I always pick Hilton Garden Inn because you’re able to get a little dinner and a bar setting. Arrived to find out the bartender called out which shut down all food and bar at this location. This has been happening at multiple Hilton Garden Inn that I’ve recently stayed at. Hotel was very clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. My room was ready as promised and very clean the room had a microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator. Parking you had to pay per night and it’s tighter than most other hotels. Had breakfast in the morning which was good. The area attractions are plenty.

The hotel was truly breathtaking!
The reception when I walked in was commendable and set the tone for a phenomenal stay. They gratefully acknowledged me as a valued customer, complemented by a thoughtful gift bag. The room was fabulous, boasting a stunning view of the harbor. I visited the bar and savored a delicious drink. Although breakfast was not included, it was nothing short of amazing. You could have included the breakfast, but I wasn't sure if I would be hungry. The server was an absolute delight. They had continental breakfast, buffet... all delicious. The bartender was amazing, got to love Italians. He was from Sicily and he was so pleasant! Made my day! Should I say night... he was cheerful, friendly and deserving of a promotion!!

The hotel has some interesting contrasts. Housekeeping is the star. The hotel is impeccably clean. Give the gals a nice raise for a job well done, because cleanliness must be absolutely the number one priority of a hotelier.
The front desk agent who handled my evening check-in was lovely. The next morning I asked the day shift agent about making copies. She told me they didn't have one. "Sorry". (Uh, this hotel lists "copiers" as an amenity).
I had read in the reviews that the highway side was noisy, so I requested Harborside... for a whopping $75 more per night. Outside the elevators there's a window which overlooks that highway and the noise was distinct, so yes, all of the reviews about noise on that side of the hotel is true. The hotel management acknowledges that with a "not responsible for noise". I would never stay here again unless it faces the harbor.
Don't like the fluorescent lighting in the rooms.
The food and the bartender were excellent, but $45 for a burger and two glasses of so-so wine is steep. That's before the tip, which was generous because of the bartender's hospitality.
Only working ice machine was on the 5th floor.
Location is great, only 7 or 8 dollars to downtown with Uber.
Lastly, don't trust map apps for shopping. I tried to find a couple of places that had closed permanently, but were still appearing on the app.
I still give it five stars...
