  I stayed at this hotel last weekend, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. From the moment I walked in, the place felt run-down and poorly maintained. The lobby looked nice in pictures online, but in reality it was outdated and not very clean. The room was even worse. There was a weird smell as soon as I opened the door, and the sheets didn’t feel fresh at all. The bathroom had stains, and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. On top of that, the walls were so thin that I could hear everything happening in the rooms next to me, making it hard to sleep. Customer service didn’t help much either. The staff seemed uninterested and slow to respond when I asked for extra towels. It felt like they didn’t really care about the guests’ experience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It definitely wasn’t worth the money, and I won’t be coming back.

  Not sure why this place has such a low rating. The employees are incredibly kind and warm. The bathrooms don't have the mirror and sink outside of the bathroom like alot of hotels here do. The bathtub stopper isn't working in my room, but I just use rags to stop it from draining. The potatoes at breakfast seem to me like they need to be cooked more, but I'm not sure if they're technically undercooked or not. It is wheelchair friendly and professional and clean here with alot of space in the rooms. I think they've had issues in the past with wild children, so there are rules posted in the elevators about not letting them be loud and play hide and seek in the hotel. If you appreciate the quiet, it's a good thing. The key cards have never had any issues here, which is common for alot of places.

  It looks like a relatively new Holiday Inn Express, but overall I found the stay disappointing for the price and I wouldn’t rate it highly. The location is convenient if you want shopping nearby — BJ’s Wholesale is right next door, and Home Depot and Walmart aren’t far away. It’s also just off the I-95, so it’s an easy stop if you’re travelling through the area. Breakfast was acceptable, but nothing special. The hotel has a swimming pool, although the water looked a bit foamy when I was there, which didn’t inspire confidence at all. I didn’t use it. There’s also a small gym, which is fine. As a Diamond member I was upgraded, which I appreciated — thank you. It’s unusual to get a suite in a Holiday Inn Express, and the bathroom having a proper bath was a nice surprise. However, the room itself had several issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The heating system was very noisy and kept switching between blowing hot and cold air to regulate the temperature. It was loud enough that I had to switch it off just to get some sleep, which isn’t acceptable. The suite also has a kitchenette-style area with a microwave and fridge, but no stove and no utensils, plates or glasses. It feels pointless and unfinished, like it’s trying to look like a proper setup but isn’t actually usable. Another odd omission was the lack of a kettle and any tea or coffee facilities in the room, which I would normally expect even in a basic hotel. Overall, the location is the main advantage, but the poor heating and missing basic amenities let the place down. I’d only rate this hotel 2 stars and I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.
