  Tru was cozy, clean and practical. Its right near Place Dupuis and the berri uqam metro, which is convenient for visiting the islands gems. Special thanks to the girls at the front desk- Daphne and Monte-Sara for their caring customer service. And the manager for greeting us on our arrival. Good, tasteful coffee. While there is no parking on the premises, not a biggie ,there's parking very close by .

  New location ideally located close to Downtown Montreal. Staff is very friendly and room well appointed. Got a bit of a university dorms vibe without the noise and partying. No parking on site but several paid options nearby

  Polluting, wasteful and unclean... It's a hostel. Nauseating smell in the room so bad that after a two-night stay I needed to wash all my clothes to get the stink out. No fresh air. Air filter clogged with dust and indicating they should be replaced. Dirty toilet in the restaurant/lobby every day. (There's only 1 toilet for the entire hotel.) Better to go to the public toilets in the bus station. Everything in their breakfast is single-use, disposable, individually wrapped. Every table has a mountain of trash on it. Their disposable plates etc are littering the street in front of the hotel. The only thing to eat is meat, industrial pancakes from a bag, eggs, slimy oatmeal or cereal. Bizarre. For this price category you can find other hotels that have at least clean toilets and a breakfast that might include a vegetable.

  No hot water and no pressure in shower. Hotel maintenance took hours to repair. Unable to move to other room due to no availability. Hotel staff not very responsive giving updates as promised. The location was right near the metro best point. Being a newer property so dissatisfied with the issues with my room. Shower was finally repaired. Make sure when booked try to confirm all aspects of the room are functional.

  Brilliant small hotel located in centre ville. Walking distance to metro and 747 bus from airport. Close amenities. Spacious room and bathroom. Very clean , comfortable bed. Free 24 hours coffee dispenser water and ice. Also a small shop at reception for basic necesities. The breakfast was limited and ghe disposable cups plates and cutlery wasn't very nice. The main issue to be aware is that there are lots of homeless in the area and we saw lots of cars broken into nearby so unfortunately didnt feel safe to walk at night
