    The hotel is wonderful and suitable for everyone, even children, who will enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. There is also a gym and a sauna for adults. Its location is excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The reception staff are very helpful.

    After a disappointing experience at another hotel we originally planned to stay at, we found Holiday Inn Montreal Centreville Downtown last minute — and it turned out to be such a blessing! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, truly felt like a home away from home. The lobby is beautiful and makes a great first impression. What really stood out to me was that they texted us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and want you to have a great experience. The location is perfect — walking distance to Old Montréal, the underground mall, and so many great spots nearby. I will absolutely be staying here again the next time I’m in Montreal. Highly recommend!

    Parking is a concern. We came back to our hotel underground parking and it was completely full. Found out it is also open to the public. Had to park down the street for 60 overnight. The buffet was ok, but they were having a hard time keeping up with the food. It wasn’t even that busy. The staff were nice. Rooms were a little worn, but the lobby was nice.

    THIS IS RIDICULOUS UNFAIR, WATCH OUT FOR THE PARKING POLICY: Disappointing experience at a former favorite It is disheartening to report that, after years of loyalty, I will not be returning to this hotel. Our stay was marred by poor communication from the Front Desk regarding parking. Despite our initial inquiries, we received evasive answers that led us to believe the service was included. Discovering unexpected charges at checkout, coupled with vague and baseless explanations from staff, is simply unacceptable. Such a lack of transparency is a discouraging oversight for a high-caliber establishment. Regrettably, I can no longer recommend it.

    My brother recently stayed at your hotel and we both had a very disappointing experience related to a package I sent to him during his stay.I had shipped a small box to my brother at the hotel using speed post, specifically so that it would reach him on time, as it contained items of sentimental value. When the package arrived at the hotel, your staff returned it immediately instead of holding it for my brother as an in‑house guest.When I called the hotel to understand what happened, the front desk agent told me they could not locate my brother’s reservation and therefore turned the package away. He also said that the manager could not find the booking “in the system”. However, when I questioned this and asked why the parcel had been returned, the reservation was suddenly found. This inconsistency is very concerning and does not reflect reliable guest service.To make matters worse, when my brother spoke to the front desk today, he was told that the hotel does not accept packages if they do not have the word “Guest” written on them. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry myself, I find this explanation unreasonable and have never encountered such a rule being used to justify rejecting a parcel for a confirmed in‑house guest without any attempt to contact the guest or clarify the details.Because of these actions by your staff, my time‑sensitive and sentimental package was returned instead of being delivered to my brother during his stay. I would like:A written explanation of why the reservation could allegedly not be found at the time the package arrived, but was later located when I called.A copy of your policy regarding receipt of mail and packages for in‑house guests, including any requirement about how the name or “Guest” should appear on the label.Compensation for the cost of the speed post shipment (and any re‑shipping costs I now have to incur), given that the parcel was refused due to staff error or inconsistent application of policy.Please respond to this review within 7 days so we can resolve this matter amicably. I hope you will treat this complaint seriously and take steps to ensure other guests do not face similar issues in future.
