I stayed at the Hilton garden inn in Montreal last week and I would not recommend to others. The beds seemed like they had not been changed in 20 years. You could feel the springs coming through the bed. I have never had such a bad sleep at a hotel.

Central location which is perfect to get to many places. We had 2 double beds room which is a great size. It included microwave and fridge but no kettle. You can ask for it which I did but it was not clean with crud at the bottom. All it takes is a bit of vinegar and water so no excuse for it to be dirty. Also we had a large bathroom which was nice but not enough hooks to put towels. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-Ville and had a very disappointing experience. There was nowhere to park to check in, yet we were required to check in before gaining access to the underground parking. This created unnecessary stress right from arrival.
The designated handicap parking was essentially unusable — the space was too tight to accommodate safe access. We ended up having to park on the third floor, where there was no elevator access. My wife, who currently has a broken leg, was forced to climb a flight of stairs. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to offer accessible accommodations.
The room itself was fine but uncomfortably cold, which didn’t help the overall impression.
Given these issues, especially the lack of functional accessibility and poor arrival experience, we will not be returning. I hope the hotel takes accessibility and guest experience more seriously moving forward.

I do not recommend. We have spent 4 nights here and I cannot say anything good about it.
At first, we were put into a room that was big but super dark, views to the internal courtyard, and the shower had no glass so the bathroom was flooded every time someone used the shower. We asked for a change and they accepted.
The second room had better views. However, the quality is just bad. The tiles on the bathroom floor were uneven and moved when walking. The light in the mirror didn’t work. I asked them to fix it. In the evening, they told me it was done - it wasn’t. I called and asked again, they said they would fix it tomorrow. Surprise, they did not.
My reservation had breakfast included, so we had breakfast there. Be ready to wait 20min (!) for your cappuccino. And they might bring you a caffe latte. We told the waiter we ordered a cappuccino, he said ‘it’s same same but larger’. There is an old (40-50y.o) Asian waiter who is the worst. He is super rude and super slow. The food is not great: the oatmeal has no taste, the coffee is burnt and the bacon is ok. The kitchen had the meals ready and they just stayed there for about 15min before being served.
Also surprise: they charged me for the breakfast even when they told me it was ok it was all included!!!
The bathtub didn’t work, there were no bubbles at all. The swimming pool area itself is decaying.
Awful experience, I wonder how they got the 4 stars.
