They sell rooms adjacent to ongoing construction inside of the Hotel.
Management decided to lie in their response. I was staying in room 610 and construction was done right above. Noise and vibration were so bad that you could not talk on the phone. Also when I complained they offered to move me to another room, which raises the question why they didn't assigned me to the room away from construction in the first place.
It is not the mistake that characterized the system, it is the response. The still think they did nothing wrong. STAY AWAY!!!!

Stayed here in mid February 2026 for three nights. We were a group of 11 people and were given the new upgraded rooms. They were the best!! We were 3 people in my room and I was the first to use the pullout. It was surprisingly so comfortable. My other friends each used the super comfy double beds. The kitchenette was well appointed and the bathroom was huge. The room was so spacious. Front desk staff, Maka and Mathieu, were always so polite and friendly. The free breakfast was not just cold food -you could ask for custom-made omelettes or pancakes. So much variety of food choices. Happy hour was also one of the best that I’ve seen anywhere. Service throughout was top notch. Location could not be beat. Definitely would stay here again

I gave this a 4/5 only because I know that there are upcoming renovations to the room.
This means that the room we stayed in was not up to par as what I would expect from a Hilton which contributed to the overall experience.
Looking past the eventual upcoming renovations, our room layout was perfect. We loved the layout and style. The room was spacious and the interior well spaced out. The king bed was incredibly comfortable!
Fixes required:
1) The toilet flow was slow and we eventually had a clog.
2) The jacuzzi tub did not function. It was explained that there was a part that was needed but was not ordered because the room was slated to he renovated.
3) There was gap / broken seal at the window that allowed the bitter winter air to cone in as a draft.
The temporary fix was done with duct tape but was insufficient for the cold weather that was present during our stay.
We had to stuff toilet paper in the gaps to form an insulated seal which did somewhat help.
We also cranked up the heat in the room to compensate.
Best service!
The staff was incredibly helpful in every respect!
Our cleaning lady was helpful despite the language barrier!
Any concerns we had about the room was handled immediately and with full explanations if the problem was not fixed (jacuzzi & toilet).
We would love to return and give this location another chance knowing that having a better functioning room would top off the overall experience that I know Hilton can provide.

Clean, spacious, and located 5 minutes away from the Metro stops and Place D'Armes in Old Montreal. Definitely one of our favorite places to stay at when we're in town for a while. Their standard suites (which have a kitchen and a separate living room) give you enough room so you don't feel claustrophobic when traveling with company. They also upgraded us to the rooms with the jacuzzi, which is always a delight to after walking through the city all day.

The Restaurant is ... Strange.
To start, it unfortunately took about 30 minutes to check in. There were 3 groups ahead of us and only one person at the desk.
The rooms are nice, though need some work and more furniture. The bathroom has stained shower curtains, some of the bedding was stained, there was only one side table next to the bed, and only one dining chair.
The worst part for us was the restaurant. You are given breakfast tickets and drink tickets upon check in. Entering the restaurant there is no service; no one to seat you, no menus. It's more of a free-for-all than a restaurant. We used our drink tickets the first night. When presenting them to the older gentleman we got an eye roll. He told us there was no menu and he could only make simple drinks. We were not offered a food menu or anything else. The drinks were great! But the service was terrible.
At breakfast we had no idea how things worked. The breakfast tickets say to redeem for a made-to-order breakfast but we were greeted by a buffet. The buffet was fine, but again no menu or any indication of if we are supposed to seat ourselves or how anything worked. We saw some people with pancakes and omelettes that apparently you can order directly from the one chef. No servers. The whole experience was truly strange.
Overall, the location is great, the rooms are decent but need work, the hotel staff are responsive, and the restaurant is just bad.
