  Nice hotel, staff is great, and rooms are quite large. My only issue is that myself and another gentleman did not know there was a 200$ deposit required. Though that may have my my own fault as well as his, I would have liked to know that before going. Other than that, no complaints.

  This hotel has gone downhill. My husband and I have stayed here many times over the years and have always had a relatively positive experience. This past weekend, however, was the complete opposite. The hotel recently installed an Indian restaurant next to the lobby and now the entire building smells very strongly of Indian food. I love Indian food, but I do not want my entire hotel to smell like it. The Wi-Fi and television were also not working in our room and when we told the concierge he replied “sorry to hear that.” That was it - not even an attempt to fix things. Also they must have switched the detergent they are using on the sheets because my entire face broke out and a terrible rash the first night. The entire stay was so disappointing that we ended up leaving a day early. Upon checkout, we weren’t asked how our stay was or why we were leaving a day early indicating they couldn’t care less. The location of this hotel is great but that can no longer make up for the poor service or quality.

  Very nice hotel, but dated and tired, the staff were super helpful and friendly. The gym doesn’t open till 7am and is basic, most gyms are 24 hrs now. Really great Indian restaurant and lovely cafe to at the bottom of the hotel.

  My family members spent a week here before the 2026 New Year. They got bed bug bites. they asked bedding change due to the itch from the bite on the 2nd day. A bed bug was seen but there was not enough time to catch it with a picture. It jumped away. We contacted Expedia and this hotel as well. They did not do any effort to solve the problem. Very disappointing experience with this hotel and its service management team!!! Absolutely NOT recommended to travelers! Anyone can read more reviews. I saw 2 other travelers reported bed bug too in about 6months.

  Spacious rooms, old but maintained. No smell,bedding was clean and cosy. Check in and check out process was smooth. Washrooms and rooms were clean. Front desk was courteous and helpful. Breakfast is not complimentary but available downstairs for an affordable price. The only major con is the internet speed , which is very slow and I had an online course to attend and was a challenge. I had to use my mobile data to complete the course. I enquired if there is a meeting or conference room with better internet speed but unfortunately they didn't have one. The location is amazing and convenient to most of the attractions and subway and steps to McGill university. Lots of restaurants around to explore different cuisines.
