    Staff were friendly and helpful, both English and French. Hotel is within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and businesses.

    Worst customer service we have ever received. After a long day of driving (6 hour drive) we arrived to Best Western Hotel Brossard where my husband went to check in at the front desk where he was greeted poorly by a woman; I imagine is the manager, who then proceeded to tell him he could not check in until he made a security deposit on a different credit card than the one used to book the room. No explanation why, just that we needed to put the $100 security deposit on another card and that the remaining amount would be billed to the card used to reserve the room. As stated before; it was a long drive and my husband didn’t argue, my husband asked if a credit card under my name would work and she told him that I would be required to go in myself and provide ID to ensure the credit card was mine. He waits in the car with the kids as I go to the front desk and provide credit card and ID as she had asked, unfortunately the payment did not go through as she was charging the full amount, NOT $100. She saw me confused as to what to do as the total amount wasn’t approved, then proceeded to tell me that the credit card on file would suffice as it was used to reserve the room. That credit card belongs to my husband so she said he needed to go to the front desk AGAIN, provide ID and complete the payment. I go back to the car with our kids and my husband goes back in. She then tells him that the card on file cannot be used for the security deposit!!!! Luckily I had another credit card and go back in while my husband waits in the car, I ask if I could try another card for the safety deposit, she says yes. It is approved for the $100 deposit… then she tells me that she will proceed to cancel our reservation!!!! Why? She said we had added too many cards on file. I argued that she had asked us to put $100 safety deposit on a separate credit card than the one that was already on file and she said that the full amount needed to by paid by me on the credit card I provided. Then when I told her I provided the credit card only for the security deposit and not for the full amount because SHE said we HAD TO, she said “no, I will be canceling the reservation as you have added to many cards”. I told her she cannot charge us any sort of fees much less the safety deposit because she is the one that canceled our reservation even though we did what she had asked. She said she couldn’t give me any sort of proof because they never charged my credit card. As of this moment that money is still on hold by the hotel. The manager never apologized or offered any solution to the problem. Just “the reservation has been canceled, good night.” Will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

    I'm absolutely loving my stay here! STAFF The manager left a little bag in my room with a couple snacks and a card for my birthday 🎈. All staff are really friendly and understanding ❤️. ROOMS Out of all hotels I've been, this one is by far the cleanest in terms of rooms. I loved that we had bathrobes in our room, so comfy and good to use before and after pool, shower, or hot tub!!! The deluxe room we picked is perfect for couples or best friends. It is 150$/night (March 2026). It has a huge 2-people hot tub in the bedroom. The room is open concept: kitchennette, dining room, living room, and bedroom are all without doors, which i love. And separated is a bathroom with shower as well. BREAKFAST Breakfast is 6-10am. Staff was constantly making sure everything was refilled. The hot part of the breakfast isn't that great: our menu was just scrambled eggs & pork patties and ham. But the scrambled eggs are perfect. And there's a bunch of other food options: bagels, bread, and waffles you can toast, and my God the waffles tasted amazing 😍 especially with the little maple syrup packets 🍁; there's also a cereal bar, and fruits (ours were apples and oranges). Interestingly, they had yogurt cups and raisins, almonds, and coconut sprinkles you could add on top. They also had cold individually packaged boiled eggs. As for drinks, i loved the options: fountain water, orange juice, cranberry cocktail, and something else i forgot, then perculated coffee and decaf coffee. There was also a little box with green tea, black tea and orange pekoe tea pockets (which is awesome but i wish they had more flavors and that the orange pekoe tea was in the percolator rather than a single tea pocket. Oh and the seating area was really really nice: half of it in the sun, half of it in the shade (which i love). There were many many square tables and chairs, a few counter-height tables, and a few sofa tables which were super comfy and luxurious. POOL (& Pool Staff) The pool is huge, wasn't very hot but warm enough. There's a little sauna and a little shower stall that only closes by a curtain, which i hated so i didn't use. I loved the pool room because it's spacious with high ceiling and very big windows, and doors opening to a long narrow area outside. The pool staff were quite awkward though, not sure why! Maybe they were waiting for us to get out so they can put products in? Unsure. The towels weren't replenished. A staff also came while we were in and took all the clean towels and left...? We didn't really understand. 😂 I recommend going to the pool during day time as there's very few people. In the evening, there was wayyyyyyy too many kids cannon balling into the pool and no staff telling them not to. Odd to me that there were a bunch of staff surveilling when there was almost no one, but no staff when there was a bunch of swimmers. Also, during the day, one staff told me to put my hair in a ponytail even though it wasn't in the rules which i had read to make sure i followed them. The pool staff are nice just awkward and watchful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All in all, absolutely awesome hotel! I am literally planning more to go with my husband for our anniversary mid-March, and again for my best friend's birthday in June! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
