If you want to sleep dont go here. Unruly guests will keep you up and the hotel does nothing about it. 7 am breakfast lights not even on had to ask at the front desk then they give every excuse in the book to not give any compensation for the lack of service. Out of a 3 night stay we.got one night of sleep. Good.luck if you stay hete.

The hotel is getting an extensive remodel.
My room was huge.
Everything was clean but the carpet and the furniture was warn.
I expect this will be upgraded too.
I had a few questions and need help when I was there and Joe was absolutely amazing.
They seem to be working towards improving.

First the three most important aspects of a stay: It’s clean, it’s mostly quiet, HVAC is mostly controllable. My only major complaint is the staff will wake you up with a LOT of banging and yelling and laughing by 8/830. My job requires me to work with a lot of folks who are not in our timezone. Being woken up three hours after I laid down and learning it is not by inconsiderate guests is particularly frustrating. I don’t know if the banging comes from loading their carts, cleaning, I dont know. I know the yelling is because one will be at the end of the supply closet or the hallway and they’ll yell at each other and giggle. I stayed here probably ten days out of the last fourteen and this was a consistent experience. Joseph and Nick were exceptionally courteous and helpful. I didn’t deal with the others but they were kind and smiley whenever I passed through the entrance. You cant beat their free breakfast and i’m not even a breakfast person. HVAC- some rooms need to be set to 75 to keep it at 68 degrees. Some rooms need set at 64 to keep it at 68 degrees. This can be a pain spot if you’re there for a short stay. You can wake up freezing while having the heat set to 72. Some rooms such as 103 don’t have sufficient curtains to dress the window. This is a major inconvenience as that sun is waiting to pierce through aggressively. It could also present a privacy issue. The location here is truly what stands out. It has ample lawn on all sides and then some separating it from everything. There is every fast food option within a mile or two and they all seem recently renovated. A number of restaurants casual to fine dining within ONE mile. A supermarket less than a .25 mile away.

I was very disappointed that the website was not updated about the pool not open due to no heat. And not hot tub.
Also, the bathroom in room 309 Suite is in need of deep cleaning and maintenance. I have photos of mold. The tub plug also does not work.
Carpeting in front of the elevator in lobby area is dirty and sticky. Also a tripping hazard.
There is no ice machine on the 3rd floor. You see where it used to be.
The hotel needs repair. Walls scraped of paint and Carpeting needs replacing. Seems there is no maintenance on site.
Very run down.
People working breakfast Station were very friendly.
Coffee is not very good. Very bitter.
All the other Holiday Express are very nice and clean.

Terribly run down. I felt dirty while I was there. I had to go downstairs with wet hair to get a hairdryer that worked. There wasn’t a working heater in the bathroom. No drain in the sink. The theme was popular in the 70s and that is prob the last time this hotel was renovated. It’s a different set up in the bathroom than others. I could add more, but enough said!
