  Tapestry Collection Hotels are supposed to be enhanced by the locality. The Logan - needs soooo much work, but you are able to walk to everything in Philly. This is a beautiful building. As a NYer, I appreciate the mail chute, tiles and moulding in the lobby. The door is like many in my city. Excellent taste is exhibited in color choices and even the service ware. The only mishap was in the decision to use white grout in the gorgeous bathrooms. The color is strikingly different behind the door and under the sink. Being an old building though…the toilet flushes. Then 42 seconds later (yes, I timed it one morning while my husband slept) it ran for another 9 minutes and 13 seconds. Their water bill must be ridiculous. What I did not appreciate was Jennifer at the front desk. I had to stop listening to her phony, upbeat, over talkative self. Her voice dripped saccharine. It was obnoxious. I avoided the front desk like the plague. I did hear her say she’d be here throughout our stay. What I did appreciate, the bartender, Shane. He was genuine and accommodating. While we won’t be back, it was a great building :)

  3 night stay for a conference. Awesome room, updated modern bathroom, comfy bed, very clean. Beautiful lobby and excellent and very friendly front desk and other hotel staff. Great location, lots of wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance.

  Kind of odd LoL: I had an iron but no ironing board, hand towl rack fell off when I tried to get the towl off Rooms were clean, bed was nice, pillows were awesome, even with the quarks I would stay they again

  I had a group of friends come to stay here for my husband’s 50th birthday. We rented 8 rooms. I was kicked out of the rooftop bar by the manager for wanting to hand out very small cupcakes. She was very nasty and screaming and yelling because people were singing happy birthday.She would not offer any solution or work with us in any way. We have provided a lot of income for this hotel in the past and we will never stay here again! The service was terrible. I also note the beds were very uncomfortable.

  We have stayed here twice, most recently in September. Both stays were great, and this is our hotel of choice for York! Staff at check-in were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Before our September stay, we were upgraded to a beautiful and spacious suite, which was a wonderful surprise! The rooms are contemporary and tastefully decorated, while also honoring the hotel's history. Everything was quite clean, and perfectly quiet for sleeping. Internet speed was good, and there were plenty of outlets for all of our devices. We had a delicious breakfast at the on-site restaurant. Although initially we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is, we now know it is always a place of excellence. We can't wait to come back!
