- LWLaura WJan 2, 20265.0The Yorktowne Hotel is a historic and beautiful place to stay. The lobby is stunning and the rooftop bar gives great views of the city. We stayed in a 2 queen beds room. The room was huge. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a refrigerator in the room. The service at the front desk was excellent. Jennifer helped us when there was a hiccup with our reservation - Expedia's mix-up, not the hotels. She made what could have been a stressful situation much easier. The hotel has the look and feel of a high end establishment without the insane price. There's two bars that serve food and room service is available. I didn't go in but there is a fitness center. There's no pool. There was a wedding reception going on in a big ballroom but the sound did not carry. Be advised that the parking is at the garage across the street. For one day from 5pm to 4pm the next day it cost $19.50. The hotel may offer a discount. There are several restaurants within a short walk and the Appell Center is two blocks away. About 3 or 4 blocks in the other direction is Royal Square and Mural Park with amazing art studios and gift shops.

- MEMeghan EspositoDec 7, 20255.0I have already left a 5 star review for having our wedding at the Yorktowne last year and let me tell you brides, do not sleep on this hotel, it’s pure magic and they will treat you like royalty and their event coordinator, Angie, is the best, I truly love her. She helped make reservations for us and prepared staff for our arrival. The hotel manager offered us a dinner on them when we were ready so we decided to come back for our 1 year anniversary and it did not disappoint! We have never been treated better by a business or hotel. From the start of check-in, the front desk remembered us, wished us a happy anniversary and upgraded our room to a suite at no extra charge. Our room was beautiful and clean as always. Our dinner was OUTSTANDING! To the chef- chef’s kiss to everything. They even covered our drinks, the staff was exceptional, Shane makes the absolute best Martini in town. Our waiter was incredible. We had a great night sleep, our breakfast was again, delicious with wait staff again providing exceptional customer service. The Yorktowne and staff, we love you. Thank you for making every visit feel like home, cared for, valued and so so special. We will return every chance we can get. For the locals- do not overlook this gem!!!!!
