- MMMissyJan 6, 20261.0Would not recommend this place to no one. Rooms are not clean you have to clean your own room . The prices are not reasonable. Staff are not very helpful. they don’t follow hotel rules and protocols. They leave their guest in danger by placing rocks in the doorways that otherwise need a key code card to get in. If you really want three star hotel accommodations, I would suggest The Days Inn. The Days Inn is a little more expensive, but it is 10 times better than The Candlewood.

They are the housekeeping staff, and I can say coming from someone who has a commercial & residential housekeeping company, this place is clean! As a cleaning person I naturally will still spray the tub down with cleaner and clean up, there was no junk, no ick, no hairs. It was very refreshing to see cleaning staff keeping up so well! If youre thinking about staying here know you have no worries of icky. Beds were crisp and clean! Dishes clean, bathroom white glove test spotless! You dont need shower shoes for this one! Also Jay the front desk knows everyone by name and is very mindful of people who are coming in that he doesn't recognize, so no random people wandering either! I can say it was a nice stay.
- SRSheri RishelDec 26, 20255.0I would absolutely recommend this hotel, I have been here past week and a half, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE..The employees are absolutely friendly and very helpful in anything,I mean anything you need .Jay, is absolutely very helpful, I like to clean my own room, but he actually came up and mopped the kitchen floor, now tell me, what other hotel employees would do that,with a smile on their face .. He goes above and beyond I think ,to make your stay, comfortable and relaxing, he is the type that you feel like you've known him forever,, also Ms.Brittany, she is also helpful.I can say all of the employees as I have interacted with most, have been more than helpful, informative about everything I have asked or needed .I would highly recommend this place, to anyone whom is looking for a safe, clean, friendly environment....I just can't say enough,about this place, AGAIN, A 1-10 RATING ,I WOULD SAY 20, ( know it's a 1-10 ) but...please take this review and go there yourself.. I can guarantee you , 100% you will be happy you did..

Jay the head of staff took the time to get to know my family and I. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They will all truly be missed. Jay your a real one!!

My mother is currently staying at the hotel while I’m out of town and unable to assist her in person, and Jay has been an absolute godsend. Knowing she is in the hands of someone so warm, genuine, and attentive has brought me incredible peace of mind. Jay has gone above and beyond to make sure my mother feels comfortable, supported, and cared for during her stay. He checks in on her with true sincerity—not out of obligation, but out of kindness. His compassion and patience have meant the world to both of us, especially during a time when I couldn't be there myself. It’s rare to encounter someone who treats guests like family, but that’s exactly who Jay is. His customer service is unmatched, and Candlewood Suites is genuinely fortunate to have someone with his heart, dedication, and integrity on their team.
