  I would not be back. I asked for an extra comforter and was told to come down from 3rd floor to get it. The tv kept shutting off on its own when trying to watch a movie. Due to the upcoming snow storm, our team being from Long Island we wanted to get out early and they would not accommodate to refund the extra night we would not be using.

  Never in my entire life have I ever ever ever experienced such a horrible stay. I stay in many hotels for business and this was the first and last time I’ll ever stay at a best western. The old grump man Jay at the front desk had the audacity to yell at me over requesting an additional room Key after my husband and I both accidentally left them in the room. My husband requested one maybe 10 minutes before I did and fell asleep by the time I got upstairs from me and my entire organization hanging out in the lobby watching tv. I went back down to request the key and that is when I was met with pure disrespect. There was absolutely no reason for that lack of a word man to yell at me for simply requesting a key in front of multiple people including the young man who was ending his shift. I looked past a lot on this trip, the not so cleanly rooms, the noisy tin bed frames, the microwave that doesn’t work, the fact our beds were never cleaned after being out all day but undeserved disrespect? That’s where I draw the line. That human being should never ever work in the hospitality department.

  Upon arrival to the hotel it was in a nice location.When I got to the room it was clean but smelled like cigarettes as if someone was smoking in the room before I came..I went down to the receptionist and told him about it and he said “the room hasn’t been rented out in weeks”. Strange because if it hasn’t been rented out it shouldn’t smell like cigarettes. I thought turning on the air would help it get the smell out but it did not help. The shower also had someone else's hair in it and the cleaning staff does not respect your privacy even with the “Do Not Disturb” sign up there. The bed is also metal so every time you move it makes a loud noise.

  We stayed at the Best Western in York PA while in town for a volleyball tournament. The location was very convenient to the tournament venue. The hotel was basic but it was clean and had everything we needed. There was a decent free breakfast with many options. The staff were very nice and accommodating to our group of girls, letting them use the lobby to hang out. After we got home from our stay my daughter realized she left something behind in our room. We called the hotel and they were able to find it and shipped it back to us. They were very helpful and we really appreciated their help with sending that back to us!

  Very clean. Jacuzzi suite was VERY nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable, did have a strange scent from whatever they washed the sheets with that was a little harsh. Did have a staff member knock on our door around 9am (we had the do not disturb sign out 🫤) and I could not understand what he was asking me so I assumed he was asking about housekeeping I said no thank you, and he kept saying something. I told him I could not understand him. I have no idea what that was all about and it was irritating. (Do not disturb is there for a reason!) But overall would stay again.
