This time, we decided to try this Holiday Inn, but unfortunately, the service here didn’t compare. The breakfast area was very small and several of the machines were broken, making the morning inconvenient. We also asked for a late checkout and were told no, and when we requested extra toiletries like soap and shampoo, they never arrived. Overall, this stay fell short of what we expected given our positive experiences just down the road, especially considering that our room at the Residence Inn cost less than this one.

Room was spacious and clean, however, it reeked of cigarette smoke in the room and the bathroom. Smelled like it had been there a while. We were too tired to ask for a different room and went to sleep only to be awoken by the guests above and/or next to us flushing the toilet. Lost count after about the 12th time. The room was right outside the elevator and you could hear the dinging every time it stopped or passed the floor as well as people’s conversations. We did bring the smoke smell up to the front desk clerk but wonder if anything will get done. Maybe other rooms are better, but will not be staying here again.
