As a platinum member, this was a last minute reservation due to issues with another hotel in the area. Requested a top floor for quietness, got it. Slept like a baby, very quiet and very clean room. Front desk was great in getting the room I needed.

Not easy to get to off of I80.
Got stuck in construction traffic. Room was very old and small. Did seem clean. Old fixtures in bathroom. It needs to be remodeled.

"Quiet hours" are BS.
My fiancée and I are in a distance relationship and we don't get to have nice weekends due to mitigating circumstances. We wanted to have a peaceful Valentine's Day together, however there was a large group of guests (had to have been at least three different families in one room, who were slamming doors, yelling, and kids were screaming and crying as well. We called the front desk around 10:15 (quiet hours are 10pm-7am and posted right at the elevator doors) to which we were told that it wouldn't be an issue until after 11:30. Not even 5 minutes after we had called, another guest in a nearby room went and knocked on the door of the disruptive guests who, as soon as the guest left after being apologized to, immediately went back to doing exactly what they were doing and laughed about being complained to for their obnoxious noise.
This is absolutely absurd because couples go to a hotel to spend Valentine's Day in peace. If a guest complains about the noise level after quiet hours, the staff needs to be doing something about it asap. It is very disappointing that this occurred and during checkout, we were not asked how our stay was. If they did, I would not have held back. Charging almost $300 for 2 nights just to deal with this is ridiculous.
Besides this, the water in the shower or bathroom sink did not turn hot, EVER.
The room overall was nice and housekeeping did a great job of cleaning, the only thing getting them 3 stars from me.

I am an IHG platinum member so I am a frequent customer to this brand. This place has gone down hill since the last time I stayed here and it is not quite up to HIE standards. The first room I was put into, the PTAC unit was so loud, you could here it in the corridor with the door closed. I requested a move and she gave me another room. I checked that out and it was better, but it was not the room type I requested but it worked. Even this room the PTAC was loud and making some weird noises. The ironic thing is the ones in the breakfast room were really quiet and much newer than the ones in the rooms. I think this place needs to replace them all. The room was OK, a little worn, but not horrible. The breakfast had the typical variety, but was below average of what I have experienced. The other issue was there was a lot of ice in the parking lot. Being unsteady on my feet, I was afraid to fall. They need to invest in some ice melt. Other than that, it was fine, but defiantly needs some facelifts, unless they are planning on turning it into a lesser brand.
