In the last week my husband and I have driven from NY to CO and now doing the drive back. The WHOLE trip we stayed at Hampton Inn’s never once having an issue until today. Not only was dust covering the dresser and nightstands, but there was black mold on the shower door, and around the interior and exterior of the shower not to mention the orange ring stained around the inside of the shower. I have never felt unsafe or thought that a Hampton inn was unsanitary until today when I checked out within 35 min of entering the room. If I could give this a 0 I would, not only is it unhygenic but now my husband and I have to travel further utterly exhausted to find another establishment that keeps their place and rooms clean. After a horrible experience with the hotel manager corporate was contacted and they refused to do anything about the establishment even after it was agreed upon that BLACK MOLD IS A PUBLIC HEALTH HAZARD and there were photos to show. I have never been so disrespected by an establishment and their corporate office like this. It’s deeply upsetting they don’t take care of the people who pay to stay at their establishments.
