    The staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms were clean. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Great location. Our friends and we enjoyed our stay. The pool area looked very nice too.

    We stayed at the Penn Wells Lodge this November 2025. It was really quiet and peaceful. The check in was super easy. Breakfast was provided in the morning which was good - eggs, bagels, sausage, toast, coffee. There's a Kuerig coffee machine in the room with a microwave right outside in the hallway with an Ice Machine. I would definitely stay here again.

    As someone who has done my fair share of travel-both domestic and international-I would say that the Penn Wells is one of the cleanest places I've stayed in. Locally owned. The indoor pool at the lodge is always clean and well maintained. Our family has annual memberships there and frequently use the hot tub and sauna.
