  The hotel itself is fine. I also had great interactions with the majority of staff- but had an experience that is causing me to provide 2 stars for service. I was leaving the hotel early for work at 4:30am (on 4/21) and accidentally locked myself out of the room. I went down to the front desk and nobody was there. I waited for about 30 minutes then became desperate and started trying to call the hotel. After a few calls, still no answer. I eventually started saying “hello?” after about 45- 60 mins, and a woman comes out of the front office who had been asleep. She was confused about why I was there and kept asking “whaaat?” While half asleep. I totally understand that it was late, and most guests won’t need help at that hour. It just leaves some concern after this incident on if there would be assistance in the event of an emergency. I wouldn’t book here again.

  Was there for a wedding in the area. First room we had was previously broken into and had signs that it was pried open with a crow bar. I was able to open the door without a key. We asked for another pair of rooms and the MGR initially didn't want to give us 2 new rooms because only one had the door issue and they didn't want to have to clean the extra room. I said we have kids with us we're not staying on a separate floor. They quickly accepted this and gave us the new rooms, however, the argument of the room cleaning is not a customer- manager appropriate conversation. Then to our suprise, outlr cousins were checked into the broken door room the following day. Also the side entrance was unlocked the whole time i was there. Security is obviously not a priority for this place. Other staff was friendly and helpful though. The location is not great, poor lighting and the surrounding area seems a bit sketchy.

  High reviews must be friends and family. Check-in was good but handed key card in used card folder. Room has distinct smell of attempt, and fail, at mold control. Room floor is loose and odd. Tub is clean, but edge has mold. Bathroom is well lit. Sheets and blankets very white. Both down and down alternative pillows, which is good. Bed has pillow topper softness, but slab underneath. Very uncomfortable. Property next door, outside bedroom window, has trucks backing up, with backup beeping, throughout the night. Pool is not clear or clean. Pool deck is nonslip, but dirty and poorly drained. Pool towels are limited and very small. Poolside bathroom was out of order. Going to next available bathroom required walking through lobby and down a hall, on slippery floors with small child, past dismayed looking custodian. Then fix the poolside bathroom if you don't like cleaning up water trails. Available "plates" for microwave were plastic foam that melted upon use, ruining food. Requested, not available, napkins and given three. Next morning, walking past pool, saw it had a slimy skin on the surface and children were swimming and catching water in their mouths the day before. Breakfast was nothing special and definitely not gluten free except for the fruit. Overall, gross and extremely over priced. If it is close to where you are going, ok maybe, otherwise look elsewhere. BTW, swim lessons were given in the pool and instructor never got a chance to exit pool and had back to back lessons, five observed. She hoarded the pool items for students only even though there was an abundant supply and one extra small child in the pool making said child feel excluded and rejected. Really? One toy would have interrupted her two students from her supply of five? Overall, very disappointed for the respected Holiday Inn chain name.

  Excellent Holiday Inn Express experience, as we are used to. The staff was very pleasant.

  My wife and I got in late due to fatigue from driving. Patricia helped us get to our room quickly and she was so kind. She made sure we had drinks and made checking in a breeze. The room was clean. The AC worked well. I didn't notice anything concerning. The only issue I had was the scanner on the door for the key card gave us issues.
