Nice boutique hotel with good service but I would say the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh is much nicer (decor, rooms, service). Multiple staff at the Joinery told us the self park garage right across the street was $30 a night, but it is only $14 so if you don’t need in and out privileges, park in the garage and save yourself some money from the $45 they charge for valet at the hotel. The breakfast at the Joinery restaurant was very good and reasonably priced at around $15 per item. The manager at the restaurant was very nice. The gym was very clean, nice variety of equipment which seemed new. Loved the metal art in the elevators with the names of Pittsburgh neighborhoods. The Lobby sitting areas were very nice, modern and cozy. The room was just ok. Pretty basic for a boutique hotel. Liked the kerig machine in the room and that the tv had Netflix and Apple TV. Bathroom was ok - cool sink but Shower was too small.

Definitely wasn’t special! The furniture in the rooms are definitely not right. You have about a two foot in length spot to hang clothes because the mini fridge takes up the rest of the space really odd space for a fridge. Some of the staff were great. There’s a halfway house just down the street from there with some interesting folks.

Disappointed in the Diamond perks at this location. Booked a couples night with 2 rooms and was told they did not serve breakfast and qould credit the room $15 per person in the room to make up for it, except they said that they would only allow that discount for 1 room. When asked why no answer given except that it was the policy. Thought the perks of diamond were not present at this hotel. To pay over 600 a night x 2 rooms and they only do a 30 room credit is poor taste.
