Fantastic property with FREE parking! Hampton Inn and Suites is the only hotel downtown with free parking.
Here’s why I have Five Stars:
1. The BEST team members employed here. I read in other reviews about how great the employees treated them. I concur with those saying the team members are the very best. Holly was able to get us in a room after we showed up a little early. No waiting. When asked where to eat, they had a list for us. It described type of food and distances.
2. The room was in very good shape and well taken care of. We had a nice view from our corner room.
3. The property itself is in excellent shape and taken care of.
4. Free breakfast!
5. Safe neighborhood.
6. The best team members!
When in Pittsburgh, this is your place. It definitely is ours!

What a gem of a hotel! We booked a room here somewhat last minute as we had an opportunity come up to attend a Steelers game. We were pleasantly surprised with the cost of the room considering it was the day of a game, and it's typically not cheap to stay in Pittsburgh for games. The hotel was incredibly clean and very up-to-date. The location of the hotel was great, as we had an easy walk to the Strip District to do some shopping before heading home and a very short Lyft/Uber ride to get to the stadium. It was easy to get in and out of while driving, the parking lot was clean and safe, and the free parking was an added bonus! Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The lady working the front desk at check-in was very pleasant. The lady working at check-out barely looked up from her computer or acknowledged us, but maybe she was just busy. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

I rarely review hotels unless I have a great experience. This hotel provided a great experience! The rooms were normal Hampton Inn rooms…clean and tidy with the usual accommodations. What sets this hotel apart is the service. Holly checked us in at the front desk and was exceptional. She had great recommendations for places to visit in the neighborhood, got us checked-in early, and offered to help with anything we needed during our stay. She was welcoming and friendly and so helpful. When we came back from our evening activities, it was storming outside and there was no parking available in the hotel lot. The night desk clerk (I didn’t catch his name) walked into the parking lot with me (in the rain) and showed me some extra spaces where I could park. He stayed in the parking lot with me till I parked, offered to help unload the car, and made sure I got back inside safely. Fantastic service!! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location and that’s what you’re paying for. Right in the heart of it all.
Staff was amazing, super helpful and knowledgeable. As a regular Hilton user (diamond) they stood out as some of the best I’ve experienced.
Our room was mediocre at best…felt old/dated, musty, etc. Was suprised after reading rave reviews of the rooms. Maybe not all are updated?
Out overall I’d return for the location and a staff that truly seems to care…a rarity these days.
