⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Central Location but Not Ideal for Families We stayed here for a couple of nights during a family trip with our young son. While the hotel has some positives, there were several drawbacks—especially for families. Location: Very central, with easy access to shops, restaurants, bars, coffee spots, and local attractions—all within walking distance. However, we didn’t feel the area was particularly safe, especially at night. For families with children or solo travellers, this might not be the best choice. Rooms & Comfort: The room itself was spacious and suitable for a family of three. However, noise was a major issue. The corridors were very busy and loud late into the evening, and outside noise from the street (music and traffic) made it difficult to sleep. Another downside was the bathroom layout—part of it was open to the room, which made it inconvenient when getting ready and disruptive for others trying to rest. Cleanliness: The room was clean upon arrival, but cleanliness declined during our stay. Noticeable dust buildup by the end was disappointing, especially with a young child. Service: Staff were friendly and accommodating overall, and check-in/check-out was smooth. However, there were small issues—like repeatedly receiving only three towels instead of four—which became frustrating. Breakfast: Breakfast offered a decent variety, but the experience wasn’t great. The use of plastic cutlery and paper products made it difficult to eat comfortably. Food quality (e.g., scrambled eggs) was below expectations, and the dining area didn’t feel particularly clean. Pros: * Very central location * Spacious rooms * Friendly and helpful staff Cons: * Area didn’t feel very safe * Noisy (both inside and outside the hotel) * Bathroom layout lacks privacy * Declining cleanliness during stay * Breakfast quality and setup could be improved Overall: This hotel might work for a short stay if you want to be in a central location, but it’s not ideal for families—mainly due to cleanliness, noise, and the surrounding area. We wouldn’t choose to stay here again with a child.

We had a great stay overall, largely thanks to the top-notch staff. Every person at the front desk was friendly, greeting us every morning and wishing us well as we headed out. Housekeeping was equally impressive; helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. The Room & Amenities: • The Good: The AC/heat worked perfectly, and having a fridge, microwave, and 24/7 coffee maker was a huge plus. The gym was quiet and well-equipped, and the self-service laundry was a total bonus. • The Room: Mostly clean, though the desk and headboard were a bit sticky upon arrival. • City Living: Be prepared for street noise and sirens, as the windows don't block out much of the Midtown hustle. Things to Note: • Parking: It’s a bit confusing and $40/night. The parking attendants weren't the best communicators, so give yourself extra time. • Breakfast: It’s consistent and convenient, but the same options daily. Since this hotel stays busy (there were student groups during our stay), the breakfast area and hallways can get very crowded and noisy. Despite the busy atmosphere and the parking, the incredible service makes this a solid choice for a Philly stay!

I love this hotel! This was such a wonderful stay everyone here is so welcoming and caring here from the security guards to the front desk to housekeeping to the kitchen staff. We were welcomed from day one and throughout our stay people were incredibly nice & kind and helpful. Better service than most hotels I’ve stayed at! It’s also very clean and we stayed at the 15th floor where we were worried if the top floors would be disorienting for us. Not at all! We’ve stayed at other hotels at lower levels that had that issue. Even though the hotel had floor construction going on in the mornings it was the only noisy part from upstairs (inevitable and temporary). Otherwise we could not hear our neighbors or people’s hotel room doors opening/closing so that is good compared to other hotels. Also this place has the best free breakfast options out there, it’s like almost a full breakfast buffet. So many food options, it’s great. It is now one of my go to hotels when I come back. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan on staying in CC.

This was one of the most pleasant stays in a hotel we have had in a long time. All of the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. I would like to single out Gwen and Cynthia, two of the most helpful front desk employees you could ever meet. There was no question that they were not ready to answer. The advice on walking to our chosen sites was spot on! Also, the best hotel breakfast by far. Lots of choices to start off your day. The staff was right there to refill anything that was running low. Very walkable to historic sites and restaurants.

Overall..it's a nice hotel. Bess are comfortable, stable WIFI, and daily breakfast is always hot and decent. The only downside (from my POV) are the showers. Duringy last visit in April 2026, the water temp was luke warm, at best..but got colder after 5 minutes or so, even with the temperature knob to its "hottest" setting. If you leave or the cooler showers, this will be a great hotel for you.
