The hotel staff was great, rooms were decent and modern. Attempted to go to the rooftop bar (not knowing it was ran by separate owners and some flamin' gentleman with black hair loudly kicked me off as if I was trying to enter fort knox. Homeless drug users and vagrants outside didn't make things better, but I understand it's the city. It wasn't this bad when I lived there in the early 2000's, so not sure what happened. Decent place overall and close to Rittenhouse which was the reason I chose. Not sure if I'll stay there again.

Such an outstanding place to stay. Everyone was so welcoming. The front desk person I believe his name is Kaiel (could be wrong) was so kind and checked me in earlier. The rooms are perfect - modern, practical, comfortable. They have microwave oven and food to buy at the basement which is very convenient. Overall, excellent 5/5. Would stay again when I’m visiting Philly!!

This hotel was great! The queen size room was plenty big; bathroom clean and a nice “living room” area to watch TV etc. The hotel was quiet, and the curtains really made the room dark. It’s the best I’ve slept in a hotel.
Front desk was polite, helpful. It was nice to have a coffee cafe built in to the hotel. Price for the area was excellent. Will be the first place I look if back to Center City!

If it weren't for the great staff and their great attention to detail to make my stay as comfortable as possible, I would put this place down to 1 star. The location is horrible because you dont have a place to pull into to load/unloading your belongings. Instead you have to go across the street and pay for parking that costs $50 a night. After you deal with the valet you need to then haul all your things across the street into the hotel. My next issue woth this place is that on the 12th floor there is this restaurant called "El Techo". Im told it turns into a nightclub at times throughout the year. Regardless, during my stay there I could hear all the music blasting through the ceilings and voices. After they finished at midnight, they then proceed to drag their furniture items across the floors until about 1:47AM. It was impossible to get any sleep. The rooms do not have personal microwaves. Instead you need to go to the basement level to access one. The room is similar to the size of a hospital bed. I would not recommend this place to anyone staying for more than 3 days.
