The location and value for a hotel somewhere downtown was excellent. The service at the front desk was impeccable and very hospitable. However, there were some downsides- some easily fixed, such as the bedding/pillows. While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were thin and lumpy, I woke up unable to turn my head one way. The walls were so thin we could hear every single thing the people around us were doing or saying (in a somewhat gross way). We could also hear any rooms around us turning their blinds, which was a very loud cranking noise- quite startling in the middle of the night! While the architecture is a harder fix, if the pillows were switched out I could see this going up a star.

The front desk staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Check in was smooth, and they took the time to help us find the best room available. The Booking.com listing was somewhat misleading regarding parking. It mentioned parking and that there was a parking garage, which led me to assume hotel parking was available. We were initially told it would be $75 overnight parking, though it ended up being $47 the next day. Thank goodness. The location is prime location. We were in town for a Philadelphia game, and the hotel was easy to find and very close to everything. The room was very clean and did include a mini fridge. There is no microwave, coffee maker, or ice machine. Breakfast is not included, and coffee is not complimentary, both must be purchased separately. Overall, this is a very bare minimum setup, you are essentially paying for a place to sleep and take a shower. There is a nice market store two doors down where you can buy food and bring it back to your room, which was convenient and had good options. Food delivery is available through apps like Grubhub or DoorDash, though we did not use those services. The room is quite small, which is understandable given the hotel’s location in the center of the city, but it was smaller than we expected. Noise was the biggest issue. Street noise, sirens, and horns were constant honking, and the walls are extremely thin. We could clearly hear arguments from the room next door, noise carrying into the hallway, and doors slamming, which made it difficult to rest. While the bed itself was comfortable, the pillows and bedding were not. The pillows were very firm with awkward lumps, and the top cover was a thin zipped duvet style covering rather than a true comforter or blanket. It looks nice when the bed is made, but it did not feel comfortable. I would strongly recommend bringing your own pillows, and possibly your own blanket. Security is a strong positive. Key card access is required to enter the building, use the elevator, and access your room, which made us feel safe during our stay. Overall, this is a clean and safe hotel with a great location and friendly staff. For travelers comfortable with city living, compact spaces, noise, and minimal amenities, this may be a good fit. For those not used to city life, I would recommend staying outside the city and driving in.

My husband & I traveled here from NC for the game on sunday and we had the best stay! Seph, at the front desk, made such a positive first impression and helped us so much with suggestions during our stay. Our needs were met with nothing but positive attitudes by all members of the staff. The rooftop bar & bartender we had are just another reason we love this place and will be revisting in spring. Thank you all so much for making our stay one to remember, especially seph!

We found the value here, especially for the location was unbeatable. Rooms are indeed small, but the studios are perfect for a few days of exploring. The restaurants and their food and beverage offerings were all enjoyable and the daily food and beverage credit for Hilton honors members is a true value. It's an unassuming entrance and very low key, but clean and safe and steps from some of the best food spots in the city. The staff was kind and helpful and all the bartenders were also kind and quick to serve. Parking is across the street, but you can find cheaper with spot hero right around the block. My only complaint, but it wouldn't stop me from returning, is there isn't much common space that's not designated as a restaurant. People crowd around the coffee shop up front and there's not real lobby lounge area so it's cramped at busy arrival and departure times. Pro Tip- they have an area in the basement for water refills and a community microwave for the leftovers that need some heat.

There's lots to like about this hotel but first 1 star off for the following reasons: the room is sparsely equipped with not even a rudimentary coffee maker, poor sound proofing walls (guests fighting in the middle of the night), no complimentary breakfast (Hilton Honors membership gets $15 meal voucher) and expensive valet only parking (use Spot hero to get a cheaper rate). But we did enjoy Sue's excellent customer service and the room was modern, clean and spacious with high ceiling. Overall, it's worth staying if you know how to deal with the hotel's limitations.
