Absolutely disgusted by Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Convention Center Location. Upon arrival after driving 5.5 hours with my family we checked in to our room. My husband was using the bathroom and found a huge COCKROACH In the shower, alive, moving and in the light. Now, when we alerted the front desk manager he didn’t seem surprised. Offered us a new room. Absolutely NOT! Do you see the size of that thing(picture below). If there is one plenty more are hiding. We were on the phone with Hilton for almost an hour and the were ZERO help. They found us a MORE expensive hotel without discounting the rate because they couldn’t do that over the phone and then proceeded to give us a hard time because we needed a roll away bed because my teenagers can’t share a bed….hence why we booked a family suite at this hotel. I’m utterly disgusted, appalled and will tell EVERYONE to NEVER EVER EVER go to @Hilton brands again.Absolutely disgusted by Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Convention Center Location. We stayed at this hotel for 5 days over the NYE holiday and beyond. Every Hilton hotel that we have stayed at has been amazing… with this being the lone exception. Our room was not clean. On the second morning, we found two roaches in our bathroom. We asked to change rooms and while our request was granted, hotel management was rude and asked that we move rooms quickly. I saw that the room that we were in previously, was rented out the next day. Over the course of the five days, we experienced rude staff, police arresting someone as we were getting off the elevator, terrible breakfast items, and just an overall unpleasant stay. Parking was an absolute scam. Over $150 for the 5 day stay and even more if you want in and out privileges. The best part of this hotel is that it is located next to everything and across the street from the market, but there are several other hotels in the area that look better.

Our stay at this Home2 Suites by Hilton in Philadelphia was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We checked into a dirty room, experienced a water outage, and were treated unprofessionally by staff(Vanessa) who incorrectly blamed us for checking in early, even though we never requested early check-in. Instead of taking accountability, staff shifted blame and showed little concern for the inconvenience caused. To make matters worse, after checkout we were hit with a smoking charge that is completely false. No one in our party smoked in the room. Despite disputing this charge and escalating the issue to Hilton Corporate, the hotel claimed to have “documented findings” but provided no evidence, and Hilton refused to intervene. Being accused and charged for something that did not happen is unacceptable. Hilton Corporate issued points but refused to address the actual charge, which feels like a way to silence complaints rather than resolve them fairly. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in this property and how guest disputes are handled. I would strongly caution others to take photos and document everything if they choose to stay here — and be aware that you may be charged fees without proper proof. I expected far better from a Hilton-branded property.

Me, She & dog were well accommodated over the Christmas holiday while visiting Boy & his. Morning breakfast offerings are somewhat diverse day to day besides the staples. It was always bountiful despite the holiday crowd. Only for the early risers though, as it ends @ 9am. The elevators are very smooth and arrived all the way up to the ninth floor in a jiffy; as she doesn't like any noise over head so the top floor is a preference for us. We were comforted by keycard required elevator access to minimize the chance of perps getting off on floors where they don't belong. Though not owned by Hilton, the pricy, paid parking garage, across the adjacent alley feels secure and is clean and well kept. All the staff were personable and helpful. Probably our visiting, stay place, in Philly until the kids next relocation... so weird.

we were so pleased with our stay (12/1-12/4). from the first interaction with the front desk, all the way to us checking out. the hotel is situated directly infront of reading terminal market. we chose a room that is facing that, we got some good sunlight too. room looks a lil dated, bed is a lil squeaky but it works for us. closet space was just nice. iron and board is provided. bathroom was decent size and very well lit. the kitchenette has a huge microwave, full size fridge. it was decently clean when we stepped in, no scent whatsoever. but a better wipe on the cabinets would be great. (it is quite dusty - not eye level) as someone mentioned, additional chairs would be great. because the pull table that is under the office desk is huge but only one chair is avail, so one of us alternately took the sofa (which extends to a bed) while we eat. i like that the accessibility to the room, gym, shared bathroom downstairs and elevator could be accessed easily on the app. feel so high tech and exclusive. and made request easy with chatting with the front desk through it too. super seamless and easy. breakfast was quite a spread. simple but gets us by. the breakfast attendant (we didnt catch his name, but he’s a black young lad) was really hospitable and we appreciate him alot. it’s quite walkable too, since it’s pretty much close to the heart of philly. in all, we would definitely come back. thank you for taking care of us during our stay!
