Staff are professional and friendly. Walls are paper thin - I could hear the person in the next room the entire time. When they were partying at 2am, security came quickly and broke it up. The manager called me later to apologize for that. There were fire drills during the day when I had meetings and then someone pulled the alarm after we were in bed another night. Not the hotel's fault, but annoying nevertheless! Also, water pressure not great and not very hot water. Bed was hard and lumpy. Not the HI Express quality I'm used to, honestly.

We have stayed at this IHG property 3 to 4 times and it has been a 5 Star experience. From the Front Desk staff to Housekeeping Staff to the Morning Breakfast crew, everything has been exemplary. We will be back again May 2026 and we’re confident of another 5 Star experience.

Over 6 months ago I made a reservation for a roll in shower double queen room for my 83 or old father-in-law in law that is a retired Marine for the 250th Marine birthday activities. Have everything set for use to have a great time. We'll about a month before the stay i recieved a call asking if I was needing that room still which I told them I did as my father-in-law could not use a tub and we will need it. Than a week or 2 before the trip i recieved another call asking if we could switch room and I told them again about my father-in-laws situation and that I reserved the room months ago and that he needs that room. Well after a long day of traveling from Texas we finally get to the hotel and they gave our room away to someone else and their excuse was they overbooked. Which I told them I booked over 6 months ago but apparently that didn't matter. So there solution was either give use a room with a tub ( with hand rails and shower chair) or go to another hotel. I told them the he isn't able to raise his legs to get in a tub. So we had to change hotels. We'll the hotel room we got was a single bed and a cot which the did comp. So this is such an inconvenience to him for having been put in this position. My question is why make reservations if they can choose not to honor them. Management needs to do better.
