Great location. Must be the reason for lackluster efforts at service. I appreciated a few individuals who clearly had pride in their work but the overall vibe seemed to be "do at little as you can, as infrequent as possible". I ended up deciding to stay in town longer, but couldnt get anyone to take my money. I kept being told to go online to extend it. I offered to simplify things and relocate to another room and they told me they don't accept walk ins... Guess I'll drive to another hotel. Smh. Bathroom had no vent so expect wet. Room was acceptable. We lucked out on the view. Drinks are over priced but the bartender is not an amateur and you will be taken care of. Menu is eh. Bathrooms are hard to come by. Coffee is priced like they draw lotus leaves in the foam but it's a hotel coffee bar so expect a machine to do the work. Props to valet service. Those folks were on point. One gentleman at the lobby desk was great but the following night I was treated like I interrupted a personal phone call with a woman who was there to do something (I'm sure) but I couldn't quite figure out what.

The hotel has past it's best days and is very tired old and falling to bits. My bathroom didn't have any functional blinds and there was someone doing repairs in the room above and inhad to call before the stopped the workmen. The front desk lady was pretty abrupt and the bar lady didn't know how to pour a lager without there being half a glass of foam on top. The redeeming feature was the Moshulu ship restaurant boat moored outside.

Lovely young woman in Ellis’s coffee Bar.. I asked her for a tip jar and she put one out, the next time I was there, it was gone and when I asked about it, she said her Manager weren’t wouldn’t allow a tip jar … REALLY!!!! A travesty… Also, didn’t have towels until 10:00 pm until we asked twice!! Thermostat didn’t work !!! Not happy !! The rest of the front staff were lovely but not aware of local amenities or how to manage local transport… not ok There is no microwave… the fridge isn’t large enough for a doggie bag from the restaurant?? Really???

I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I waited over an hour and a half for a comforter, and after several calls to the front desk, I was met with an irritated response and eventually had to go downstairs to get it myself. Then, at midnight, there were drilling noises, making it impossible to rest. The room condition is also far below Hilton standards (torn shower curtain, damaged furniture paont, no sound insulation). Overall, this stay has been extremely frustrating, and I am concerned about the rest of my stay.

Two stars (1 for the location and 1 for the service). All of the staff was very pleasant and helpful from check in to check out. I had an issue with my room the first night (see pics) and they took care of it immediately. The rest of my experience however…the food was mediocre at best. The rooms were so old and decrepit I can’t believe there’s any pride in welcoming guests to stay in that place. The fitness center had a sauna which was great, but half the machines were unusable/broken. My stay was for a conference, otherwise there’s no way I would consider staying there and would’ve arranged to go elsewhere. This location was bad enough to make me swear off Hilton as a brand altogether. You simply cannot justify that expensive rate for rooms with stains on EVERYTHING (lamp shades, mirrors, floors, bedding). There were holes and tears in the carpet. Nothing in the bathroom besides tissues and a hairdryer. It’s 2025 you can’t offer a shower cap and make up remover wipe?? I almost cried when the shower curtain touched me. How unsanitary. Fridge but no microwave so you can’t even keep your leftovers from the restaurants— which there are plenty in walking distance. (The hotel restaurant is a disappointment.) I didn’t even have a *clock* in my room! Even motels have clocks. There was an incessant drip from the HVAC that happened even when the heat/ac were turned completely off. Didn’t make for the greatest sleep. The bedding was horrendous. I happened to catch a glimpse of the duvet in the sunlight and there were old stains from who knows what all over it. It was not just my room btw. This is how most of their bedding looks. My dresser and bed were wood-rotted. Not just a chip, but wood pieces falling out all onto the floor. Do not stay here. It was all so so bad.
