Stayed a total of two nights. Clean, and a great bed ro go with a small room. Breakfast area was large, and showed me a tear shaped omlette that really had flavor to it. We were having issues with our coffee maker, that was replaced soon after reporting the problem. The hotel entrance was on a quiet street for being in the city. We left with all our expectations being met. Staff we encountered were people friendly. No regrets.

First off the hotel is in a bad part of the city. Center City is not where you want to be. We used ChatGPT and that was a bad move. Pay for hotel parking then need to drive wherever you are going and pay for parking there. Industrial part. Didnt know that. View of not sure what next door building with fork lifts moving stuff. Second- when booking reservation Hampton Inn person said parking is on site-UNTRUE. Parking is offsite down the block. Third- hotel is old and dirty and needs work. Halls smell like pot. NOT KID FRIENDLY. Suites are by the elevators, never a great place to be. Suites are smaller than similar Hampton Inn properties. Service is not good at all. Hotel is not near any restaurants or public transportation or restaurants. Asked front desk for recommendations of dinner places and no reply. No acknowledgement of Hilton rewards member and of any benefits included. The hotel and staff have no redeeming qualities to stay here. Bed was comfortable and Breakfast was good and included, that was it. Better hotels elsewhere.

Stayed one night on 12/29/25 for sight seeing the next day during Christmas. Paid hotel parking since parking is frustrating in Philly. They told us $47 but charged us $53. I thought they have garage of their own but they don’t. The next day when I asked valet to bring the car, the driver seat area was completely a mess as you can see in the pic. I lost seven to ten valuable items including dash cam, charging cord, cigarette lighter, gloves, glasses, and even the blanket for kids. They even damaged my rear view mirror. I felt puzzled because the driver drove my car here and does not mention anything as if this is normal. He was still helping me loading the car as if nothing happened! I went inside requesting explanation from the hotel. The front desk girl just took three information: name, car plate, and phone number. She told me it happens and the hotel investigation team is going to get video evidence to investigate and it will take a couple of days. My father in law told me it was a lie but I did not believe and hence did not call police onsite. Later, no one ever contacted me and the hotel manager does not even know this. You cannot get hold of anyone when you call and inquire about this incident. The valet driver did not even let me park across the street when this happened. This is madness! I drove back home without a rear view mirror inside! Pure irresponsible and disrespectful to customer. Never had a horrible hotel experience like this before. They ruined not only their particular location but the hotel brand. My wife and I will try to avoid Hampton Inn at all cost in the future. As of today, they still did not pay for any damage and loss due to theft and did not apologize.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Philadelphia Center City–Convention Center.
- The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. From the moment I checked in, I did not feel welcomed.
- I was charged a fee for my dog even though I was told (and advertised) that the hotel is pet-friendly. If there are extra charges for pets, that should be clearly explained upfront, not added on later.
- At 9:00 AM, housekeeping suddenly opened my door without properly knocking or announcing themselves, even though it wasn’t even check-out time. It felt like a complete invasion of privacy and was very upsetting.
Overall, I did not feel respected as a guest, and I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.

I paid for valet parking and after checking out, the valet could find my car keys that I just handed directly to them a few hours prior. While searching for my keys for about 10 minutes, he continuously asked me what the looked like before I decided to look for them myself. I followed the location of the AirTag on my keys to a nearby parking lot where my car doors were unlocked and my keys were laying on the passenger seat out in the open. Anyone could have walked by and potentially stolen my vehicle. When I told the receptionist about this, he told me I would be receiving a refund for parking in about three business days; however, after four business days, I called the hotel staff who said there was no refund processing or incident report filed. She told me she would call me back by the end of the day, but never did. I may not receive my refund at all due to staff negligence. This is completely unprofessional and I will never support this establishment again.
