There was some sort of AC filter left in the room, dried up contacts on the floor, lumpy pillows, streaks on the nightstands, empty shampoo bottle (discovered this in the middle of a shower and received a refill 2 hours later when housekeeping knocked for a general visit). There was no do not disturb sign so I checked in with front desk twice to not allow housekeeping service in my room over my 5 night stay and they still knocked on my door including twice the morning of my checkout when I was trying to sleep in (9am and 10am). It was a good location due to the event at the convention center but there’s plenty of other choices nearby for a future stay.

I’ve stayed here once before and had a good experience - wish I could say the same for this second trip. Long story short, the person at the front desk lied to me every step of the way. After MULTIPLE 45 minute waits in line to get a room key, being told they would call me to let me know another room was ready, to then being told they were overbooked, I ended up checking out the same night and told I would receive a refund. No surprise - I didn’t. Thankfully, the main Hilton number understood and sent me a refund check a week later. Between the dirty room, the rude front desk staff, and the complete chaos, I will not be back. I ended up staying in a Marriott that night. Much better experience.

Think twice before staying at the Hampton Inn Center City.
They room was clean and Chris at the front desk was nice and helpful.
I was charged $200 for the incidental fee, if anything should be broken during my stay. A few days after checking out, I noticed that the $200 charge was no longer pending but had posted to my account and it was now $214.68. When I called the hotel several times I received no answer. I called corporate Hilton for a refund and they said the manager of the hotel would contact me within 48 hours for a refund. It never happened. Between 4 phone calls and over an hour and a half on the phone with the hotel and corporate Hilton, I am finally getting my money back that they took from me. There has been no explanation as to why I was charged this fee or why it posted to my account. I don't recommend for this reason.
Also I see many other bad reviews recently, even some similar to mine. I believe this hotel needs new ownership or new management or both.

🎰 Hampton Inn – Solid stay with vibrant energy, even for non-gamblers.
Went here as a couple for a quick getaway, and overall, it was a solid experience. The environment was lively, as expected for a casino, but not overwhelming. Even though I’m not a big gambler, I still found the vibe enjoyable—there’s enough going on to keep you entertained without feeling pressured to hit the tables.
The hotel side was comfortable, clean, and well-managed. Staff was courteous, check-in was smooth, and we had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. The restaurants and amenities around the property made it easy to enjoy a full night without needing to leave.
Rated 4 out of 5—great for a fun, easy couple’s trip, especially if you’re looking to mix a little excitement with comfort.

Besides my company messing up everything that could be messed up, the staff was judgemental, and ignorant. They escorted me to my room on my lunch break bc I had to walk my ESA, who is a valid one that serves legit purposes but I couldn't afford to pay 20k for a service dog. Anyway, the afternoon staff on my first day there had me check out then back in and told me I could not go up to my room to walk my dog until I paid the 200 incidental AGAIN that I had just paid the evening before. So when I had asked them to fax the papers to my job for them to fill out, they had me escorted up to my room, where the security kid or whatever tried to walk into my room with me behind me. I had to tell him he needed to wait behind the door. When I got my dog and was finished walking her I was told I had to wait to be helped they were helping others. It was peak check in time so I was ok with it .. UNTIL... I heard the young girl tell her manager that I was the "lady who lied about her dog. Look at that thing. What could it possibly do to help her or anyone? And she doesn't even look like she has a disability". I was in tears. They had me sitting there for almost 3 hours waiting causing me to miss the second half of my class. Housekeeping didn't come one time, I was there for a week and it says on their little welcome thing that they go in every other day. Well they didn't. I had to go down to ask for fresh towels and garbage bags and was told almost everytime they were either out or running low. Right. The night before I was to check out I cleaned my room for myself and it took me 2 hours but after cleaning it, it was clear to me that they make a habit of not doing their job. This is not the first bad experience I have had with this chain and I will be making sure that every website and review site that I can tell this story on knows. Because it was disgusting and the degrading and made me feel like I was insignificant to them even though I was paying to stay there. Shame on you Hilton for allowing such awful practices to be in place at such a beautiful establishment.
