    I had an airline voucher otherwise there's no way I would have stayed at this hotel. I was excited thinking it was a double tree but this location does not live up to the brand. There were no cookies to be found, which was a big let down. I was waiting to check in and was just handed keys and told I was all set- no info on the shuttle or on the hotel (food options, checkout time, where the elevators were, what room number I was in, wifi information, amenities, etc). I ended up finding the pool but it's only open until 8pm, so I couldn't check it out. My room was very rundown. The furniture was all ripped up, there were tears in the wall, the ceiling light as you enter the room was burnt out, sheets and towels were stained, soaps were empty. Sat on the bed and sunk in at least 8 inches. The coffee maker and breakfast beverage options in the room were nice. There wasn't any conditioner in the bathroom and the bottle of body wash was out. Location is close to the airport, but you really can't walk to anything. After seeing my room then quickly glancing at the reviews for the inhouse restaurant, I was very glad I paid to transportation to take me to dinner somewhere else. The shuttle driver for the hotel was good.

    I am extremely disappointment regarding my current stay. While the physical property is well-constructed, the level of service and professionalism I have encountered has been entirely unacceptable and falls far below the standards expected of an American Express Travel partner. The primary issue stems from the conduct of the staff, which has been consistently dismissive and unprofessional. Most concerning, however, is the behavior of the supervisor, Khufu. It is truly unfortunate that leadership sets such a poor tone; I found Khufu’s attitude to be adversarial and profoundly lacking the maturity required for a management role. Khufu’s dismissive demeanor made it clear that a professional resolution is not possible on-site.

    Service at check-in yesterday afternoon was excellent. The receptionist at check-in was professional, courteous and explained all i needed to know with a warm smile on her face. The process was quick, she gave me a delicious warm chocolat chip cookie. The lobby was decorated nicely and was spacious. I took the shuttle to the airport which was also a great experience. The shuttle was a minute ahead of schedule and the driver came inside to clearly communicate that the shuttle arrived. He quickly took my luggage. It was a short drive to the airport. The driver drove carefully, was a gentleman, courteous and friendly. He swiftly got my luggage and wished me a safe trip and happy holidays.

    On 12/26/25 I checked into my booked stay at Airport Double Tree in Philadelphia based my previous positive stays at other Hilton Double Tree Hotels. Worst mistake ever! BEWARE if it feels like prices are too good to be true they usually are!! We checked in and were given room 507 and it was full of mold all around the edge of carpet and curtains were hanging down from windows and the smell was bad. Holes in the wall, just awful! Asked for another room and told twice they were all booked. Finally referred to a manager after asking if everyone booked had arrived and if not why can’t I get another room. Finally gave me a room that actually adjoined with the moldy room..,UNBELIEVEABLE! Had I done my due diligence and checked the reviews prior to booking, I would have never booked at this hotel. You would think the health department would come check this out. Trying to get my money back, since I paid through Expedia they advised I have to call them. I will be checking out tomorrow and checking into the Marriott. No way will I ever stay here again and now this has just killed any chance of me staying at any other Double Tree Hotels. I will also dispute any charges if they charge me any money for checking out early.

    Title: Falling Apart - Terrible Experience I stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton in Philadelphia, and unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative. The entire hotel is falling apart - the decor is worn out, the rooms are run-down, and it feels like no effort has been made to maintain the property. Everything about this hotel screams neglect. The service, while polite at times, was largely unhelpful when issues arose. On top of that, I am still fighting over incorrect charges, which has made the experience even more frustrating. While the Hilton name usually carries a reputation for quality, this location failed completely to deliver a comfortable, hassle-free stay. I cannot recommend this hotel and hope management takes serious steps to improve both service and property conditions.
