- SSSunrise1 day ago1.0substandard conditions during my recent stay (details) The room was unsanitary; my husband and I woke up with bites on our backs and necks, and he observed a cockroach in the room during the night. Additionally, the bathroom had visible soap scum on the shower walls, and the room was not properly deodorized.inviting the odor from a previous guest. The common areas also featured damaged and stained furniture. ( visibly dirty worn unvaccumed carpeting throughout the hotel) While the staff was initially pleasant, my attempt to respectfully address these issues was met with unprofessional resentment. We were unable to sleep due to these conditions and felt uncomfortable bringing our belongings inside our return home. The stairs and handrails were literally black, and reaked of strong cigarette smoke odor/ the doors were open all night for our entire stay. The pool area was not sanitary or well-kept and the restroom was even worse. the pictures attached to the website are extremely deceiving and do not reflect the reality of what this place is like. At first glance it gives the appearance of a decent hotel however upon inspection and looking closer you will find that it is nothing short of an unsanitary, unkept, lack of proper maintenance mess to say the least. There were smears and stains throughout my room on the walls, dirty floor corners, crumbs, food, blood, toenails you name it we witnessed it. I would not recommend this place to a single soul. The breakfast was essentially low budget stretched skimmed and primarily geared for them to save money. Hopefully something changes to improve the lack of care and cleanliness with regards to undeserving guests. I strongly urge an immediate intervention and deep cleaning/maintenance, revision of this facility. I look forward to hearing how you intend to address these serious health and service concerns. Until then I would not recommend this hotel, more like a motel to anyone.
