Had to stay here because Delta's stupid 45 minute cutoff policy, but it turned a bad experience into a good one. The food was great. The lady working the bar from Hampshire was delightful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Really disappointed at this hotel. During the government shutdown I called a few days before my arrival to cancel my reservation as I had to cancel my trip due to flight cancellations. Although I realized that I could not cancel at that time, I had asked them to make an exception for a repeat Diamond member. They told me they would ask the manager and would get back to me. I then told them to not cancel until I heard from the manager. Bottom line, no one called me, they cancelled my room anyway and charged me for the full rate.

Unfortunately I have a similar experience to pettitb (See his review). I had to cancel my trip about 36 hours prior to my arrival. I called the hotel spoke to a nice gentleman at the front desk explained my situation and he was able to cancel my hotel for me. I specifically asked about the hotel fee and he said that would be waived. A week later I notice a charge on my account and the receipt said "Late Cancel Room Revenue". I called and spoke to the front desk and they said that I would need to speak to Alan Alan. I called and left message for him on Monday and didn't receive a call back. I called again on Tuesday and left another message. I received a voicemail from him later that day and he said he wouldn't waive the fee. I called back and spoke to Alan who explained his reasons for not getting back to me yesterday. Alan was very rude and dismissive and just stated what the policy was and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. I stay exclusively in Hilton properties when I travel for work and for leisure. I can say as a Diamond member I have never had any issues until dealing with Alan. There are exceptions to any policy and for him to not even consider the circumstances says a lot about what he is after. "Room Revenue".
The response from the general manager tries to place blame on Hilton policies, but according to Hilton website " For reservations cancelled past the cancellation date, a late cancellation fee MAY apply, which varies by hotel." Clearly this is your decision and are hiding behind a "policy".

Beautiful hotel, but they didn’t have any luggage carts available. As a family of four with a toddler and baby it was inconvenient to say the least.
The girl at the front desk when we checked in was very nice and accommodating, finding us a laundry cart to help. But the next morning when we were checking out the manager (Janet) was working the desk and she was also nice but unable to provide us any help or assistance.
Needless to say, many trips later we finally packed up the car. 😅 overall the hotel is great but as most parents know, getting out the door with little kids is hard enough without having to try to go back and forth many times.
Hopefully Hilton is able to either get more luggage carts or at least keep track of the ones they have since we were told that theirs were “lost” in other guest’s rooms.
