My stay at this hotel was horrible. I felt like my family and I were profiled. First off we were coming in from a 10 hour drive cramped in a van with 9 people. As we were approaching the hotel we were maybe 15 minutes from there and it’s 6:30am the day of my check in, I called in to the front desk to ask if my family can check in early. We were told yes due to them having a low occupancy that it was ok. We arrive and pay for our rooms and the deposit amount. Upon entering the room we notice a very big bag of trash sitting right off the elevator I have pictures of that. We enter the room and immediately I notice the dust on top of the refrigerator as I look around I notice how filthy the dishwasher and the dishes were. The beds looked like they had been jumped or layers in of some sort. We were also told by staff that the bag given upon arrival were only given to diamond and platinum members, which would not have been an issue had I not seen the customer whom was a silver member given a bag. As we approach the second day I have my children down by the pool and they were told that they can only use 2 pool towels per person. Then the next day (checkout day) they say the pool is out of order, didn’t make a big issue because we were leaving anyway. So we have a 1pm checkout and at 1:02 they are knocking at the door threatening us with a late fee they give us 15 minutes to leave the room and leave. As we approach the front seat to check out I notice that there are to 50 dollar charges on both of my rooms I ask for the supervisor that applied the charge and they tell me that she was no longer in the building. I ask is there anyone I can speak with in regards to these charges and they tell me there is not one supervisor or MOD on duty that I can speak with. So they proceed to tell me that I can walk next door to a hotel that I didn’t reserve at room at to speak with someone in regards to the charge. I called my boss just to kinda verify a few things and I took their names and told them I will be going to corporate. But for nothing to have happened or they just disregarded everything that I told them including my room photos. I left unhappy and racially profiled. I had my mother and stepdad all of my children with me on a vacation that we thought would be out first vacation of the year turn out not to only be a disturbing but yet very judged, THE VACATION FROM HELL I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. I will most definitely be going to corporate.

We only stayed a night and everything was great! We had some trouble with dead outlets (we later learned there was a breaker box in the room to reset) and the vanity bathroom lightbulbs were burned out. Patricia responded immediately and fixed those issues for us! Everyone we encountered was helpful, friendly, and genuinely seemed to want us to have a nice stay. Thank you!

We stayed here for 2 nights and after the first night we realized the door to our room didn’t lock - you could open it without a key. We immediately went downstairs to notify the front desk who said they’d have maintenance come up right away. The maintenance man looked at it for 30 seconds and said there was nothing he could do?! Then he saw we had our 2 year old son and said well since you have a little one let me go look at what we have that could possibly fix this issue. So if we didn’t have our son with us we would have just had to deal with a door that didn’t lock??? We were getting ready to leave for a wedding all day and would have had to either risk our stuff staying in the unlocked room or move it all to the car. Neither of these are acceptable options when we’re paying so much for a room! We came back later that night to find it was fixed (thankfully!!) but our key no longer worked. My fiancé went to the front desk and got a new key, came back up, and it still didn’t work. He had to go back downstairs to get the front desk agent to come up with the master key to get into the room. Come to find out the maintenance man had to take the dead bolt completely off the door and we could only get in and out of the room with the hotel’s master key. The room itself was spacious but smelled musty and old. The bed was super uncomfortable and smaller than anticipated (we booked a queen room - we sleep on a queen at home just fine but could barely fit in this bed). We had no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. The pool was nice and breakfast options were good which is what’s helping get to a 2 star review. Also the woman at the front desk was friendly and apologetic to our issues. We were promised to have points added to our Hilton account since we booked through a third party so she couldn’t discount our stay for the issues we had, but we’ve yet to see the points.
