I paid $136 per night total for room with 2 queen beds which had all the features you can want, including in-room coffee. The free breakfast is very good with eggs, meat, waffles in an attractive room. Staff is friendly, helpful. Problems: the pool was closed during my January 2026 visit, heater in room was difficult to control, requiring use of "emergency heat" setting, and the 3rd floor ice machine made a huge noise. So I can't say this motel is a good value for the dollar.

The breakfast was really good and the employee running it was very courteous as well. Hotel was spotless, don’t usually leave reviews but everything was fantastic here, especially for the price.

Being the weekend right before Christmas traffic was heavy and winds hard. My son google near by hotels and thankfully the Hampton Inn in Lamar, PA had availability. Tired and a bit on the cranky side, I was welcomed with a warm welcome and a positive attitude. Shawn should be notice for his great customer service. He was quick as a whip but I never felt rushed. The room was ALL UPDATED and EVERYTHING was clean. Plus warm cookies for a sweet tooth before bed. I'm so happy I chose this Hampton Inn. It's marked on my phone and will definitely be back again. Thank you Shawn for my negative into a very positive:). **Highly recommend this Hampton Inn
