After our seven-week-old reservation was abruptly canceled by the Quality Inn in Meadville—right before Parents Weekend at Allegheny College—the Hampton Inn came to the rescue. The night manager was incredibly kind and managed to find us a room for one night, explaining that the GM might be able to help us extend our stay. Sure enough, the next morning the GM worked things out so we could stay for the second night. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and the complete opposite of the unhelpful front desk staff we had just dealt with at the other hotel. The Hampton was clean, comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were an unexpected bonus—especially appreciated by my wife, who has a bad back. A huge thank-you to the night host and the GM for saving our family weekend with our daughter. We’ll be staying here again on future visits to Meadville!

This is a very comfy hotel with comfy beds and a great TV. The breakfast bar is awesome but do not stay in room 110. I thought someone was drawing their tennis shoes in the clothes dryer because it was so noisy. 110 room is right next to the kitchen. They start banging pots and pans about 4:00 in the morning. It really interrupted my sleeping continue until about 7:30 so I had to get up. Otherwise, everything else was great. Caveat!! DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 110 IF YOU WANT A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP 😴 Also I need to install towel racks by the sink. And of course the bathroom sink is always drains like it's clogged. That is my review. However, the manager did give me a discount and that was a wonderful gesture I did not even ask. I just complained about not being able to sleep. Again, do not stay in room 110!🤦
