The good: right off the highway & near gas and restaurants. Friendly staff. Room was clean.
The bad: outdated room (carpet throughout, 80’s furniture and dingy drapes) I pulled the bedside table out to plug in my phone, and years of buildup dust was behind it. Disgusting buildup in the bathroom. As a loyal Hilton Honors member, I was shocked.

There were cracks in the bed frame in room 413. They were poorly covered by duct tape. We liked the lobby though. The breakfast was pretty decent, and they have good parking. There was a flickering little light in the breakfast area.

This is the second time that Alyssa was at the front desk when I checked in. She is perfect for her position with the Hampton Inn.
She is very personable, helpful, she engages with each guest and she goes out of her way to make each guest feel
valued. She truly goes above and beyond what is required for her position. She is a valuable asset to this hotel.

This place kicked me out and refused to provide any explanation at all. I really thought I might have done something wrong without realizing but upon contacting Hilton customer service as recommended, the customer service agent told me she was able to get in contact with the front desk agent (who she described as extremely curt and unwilling to provide details) and the only issues cited both seemed to be errors caused by the hotel's own poor management of rooms and staff.
(They said I did not check out on time--I had two consecutive reservations and they failed to note that I checked out and in again. The large soap dispensers in the bathroom trigger my allergies and I always request they be removed--when I arrived they said all the staff with a key to remove them had gone home so I emptied them into a bag which I threw in the trash. After I finished, a staff member who apparently had not gone home arrived to remove them. I explained the situation and apologized for the wasted product. The front desk agent reported this on the phone as me "dumping it all over the floor." I'm not sure what to say to that.)
I don't know if these people are really just that incompetent or if there's some kind of discrimination going on here they're refusing to state out loud but please save yourself the unpleasantness.
EDIT: I received a call today from Booking.com saying they had refunded the reservation this hotel canceled (which originally was being charged as a cancelation fee) and apologizing that it took a month to do so because the hotel would not answer the phone, respond to any inquiries, or provide any information to them at all. That's now two unrelated customer service reps who have made unprompted comments to me about how impossible it is to communicate with or get any information out of this hotel. I don't know what is going on in this establishment but I *cannot* recommend spending your hard-earned money here.
