For a hotel to be under The Hilton name I am extremely disappointed with the upkeep and cleanliness of this property. corridors are dark, bad lighting, stains on wallpaper and in elevator. Broken and stained furniture, rugs and shower. Things that can be easily fix but they are over looked at this property. As it seems that there is some renovation taking place during my stay. I would not recommend staying here at this time.

We stay at many Hilton properties, this one is really bad. So many things were wrong. We were there for a week and this is what we experienced
- One morning I went to take a shower only to find that the water was brown. I complained to the Front Desk but they didn't seem to care and never followed up with me.
- The smoke detector in my room was completely taped over, so I'm sure it didn't work.
- The black out curtains had been removed and never replaced, so there was lots of light in the room at night.
- The dryer in the customer laundry mat was broken all week and no one came to fix it.
i did complain to Hilton Corporate about the brown water in the shower but they never followed up with me either. Very, very disappointed.

I had the worst experience staying at Homewood Suites. First, the fire alarm went off, and the alarm on the fourth floor never stopped, which, according to a hotel employee, is a known and common issue. After being moved to a different floor, dirt came out of the shower head, so I had to change rooms again.
The breakfast is awful nothing tastes fresh or healthy. It is a nightmare breakfast, especially for Europeans. Breakfast is served on cardboard plates, and plastic cutlery is provided on weekends. There is an unpleasant smell throughout the hotel and in the rooms.
I do not recommend staying here

My wife is currently staying at the Great Valley Homestay Suites by Hilton Philadelphia. She took my daughter and 3 of her friends to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. They wanted to have a fun night and got a 2 bedroom “suite”. The hotel is run down, the room is absolutely filthy. The pool has a weird smell and gave my daughter a rash. The carpets and curtains are stained, the furniture is ripped. A Motel 6 would’ve probably been a better choice. My wife tried to address it with the front desk and the lady there shrugged her shoulders and said “we’re renovating”… in the meantime, you’re charging clients to stay at this dump? No refund or alternative place to stay was offered to my wife. Something should be done to make this right. What a disgrace.
