It's a beautiful little adult's resort. Almost everything you need is on property. The rooms aren't perfect, but what can you really expect when there's a hot tub in the middle of the room. Good wifi, two TVs in the room, a personal mini pool and sauna as well. Our breakfast was included and was a nice little fresh buffet with fresh omelet and egg options included. Both our servers were super chill and the tall blonde girl was funny. The gift shop could use a little more food and drink selections but other than that it was great. The woman working there was super friendly and incredibly helpful. Everyone working on property were great, but she was the best. We loved the little game room and it's open 24 hours too. There were no issues at all during our stay.

Do not book here, you have been warned.
We booked the champagne tower room for Valentine's Day and made our deposit around a month in advance. We called the morning of our stay to check on everything and were told everything was fine. I again confirmed with them that we were coming from over four hours out and that we would be checking in later that evening.
On the way there we realized that we would be too late for the last dinner reservation at 8PM and called to check on options. Not only was there zero flexibility, but they then told us that they had overbooked and that the room we booked was not available. We were given zero explanation as to how this happened. They offered to downgrade us to a different suite for the full Valentine's Day weekend price of that other room which was not even $100 less than the $750 room we had booked. They gave us no warning about the room and at this point we were already over three hours from home, in a snow storm, and we were reassured that they would do something special with the room to make up for it and it was "exactly the same" as our booked room outside of the aesthetics of the tub. They have packages for the room that could include champagne, rose petals, chocolate covered cherries, bath robes, etc. We later found out that the only special thing they did for the room was spread around $5 of rose pedals and put two champagne glasses with no champagne in the room. Classic bait and switch to get us to accept an over priced room we would have never booked with minimal effort.
We did get them to let us order dinner, knowing exactly when we would be in at 9PM, but they refused to take it to the room. They had it in a styrofoam box at the front desk without proper silverware and despite asking the temp for my prime rib managed to package it so it was well done. The boy at the front desk argued with me that it was impossible to have it at the right temp, which is simply not true and is a terrible customer service strategy, but regardless they were the ones that asked me for the temp, then had it well done.
The comedian booked for the lounge was not the one advertised at booking and was not good.
The bar staff couldn't get us proper silverware, despite me being able to walk the additional 50 steps to the front desk to acquire knives.
The bar drinks were massively overpriced and the lowest quality. $30 for a single poor Manhattan and Mojito.
A van used by a 135lbs boy in a hoodie who identified themselves as "security" before refusing to give their name blocked off the parking lot preventing getting to our room with the door wide open and then acted aggressive and insulting when I asked if he was a cab or if it was policy to block the whole road.
The room was not equivalent in any way to what was booked, and looked like it was the set of a bad 80s adult film. Minerals were in the tub, not as a stain, but because no one properly cleaned the room. The bed was very small. The "pool" was a thimble and smelled of too many bad decisions.
Donna at the front desk was the only staff that acted like she had any idea what customer service was, and she was able to refund us so we could drive 4 hours home at midnight in a blizzard. "security" was at the front desk rolling his eyes and looking like he was considering how he couldn't find a better place to work after juvie. We chose the blizzard and a 4 hour drive. That's how bad it was.
I wish I got better pictures and videos, but I was so frustrated that I couldn't manage to think about sharing the details and that I would need to capture evidence of the comedy of failures I was seeing. Everything was tacky, faux-luxe, divorced dad energy, dirty mirror grossness. Take my word, do not book.

This place has always been on my bucket list, and we finally booked it for Valentine’s Day weekend.
From the moment we arrived, everyone we interacted with was welcoming and kind. The staff truly made us feel comfortable and taken care of.
The food for both breakfast and dinner was very good. From what we understand, they recently changed their menu and chef — and we had no complaints at all.
Yes, the rooms are outdated. I do agree with others that the property feels run down and could definitely use a makeover. With some updates, this place would easily be booked 24/7. That said, this Valentine’s weekend was fully booked, so it clearly still holds a special place for many couples.
The Champagne Glass jacuzzi tub was AWESOME. The sauna was great as well.
The fireplace was such a nice touch for a romantic occasion — especially with the red lighting and the lighted stars on the ceiling. It really added to the whole vibe.
Tip: Stop at a local Walmart or Lowe’s and grab a box of fire logs. We used two a night for four nights, and it helped keep the room warmer overnight since the heat struggled a bit keeping up with how cold it was outside.
The only downside for us was that the heart-shaped pool was too cold to enjoy, which was disappointing since we were really looking forward to that.
One more tip: when using the fireplace, you’ll need to keep the front door slightly open due to backdraft — otherwise the room can get smoky.
Overall, we’re glad we finally experienced it and created the memories we’ve always talked about. 💕

This will be the second review I have ever written. This was a $600 night turned into a memory we won't forget.
DO NOT GO HERE. This is NOT a "resort".
The other negative reviews are spot on. Rooms and facility are severely out dated. Food is mediocre at best (think hello fresh pre-packaged meals). We followed their dress code, a simple dinner dress for her, jeans and a button down for me... we looked way to fancy and were over dressed. Dudes in there with sweat pants and t shirts. Awkward.
There is no lake view. It is a very small pond. Very, very small.
When we arrived one of us showered before dinner. After two hours, we went to fill the hot tub, and it was ice cold water. Called the front desk, and they seemed like they have been down this road before based on their tone. A (disgruntled) maintenance person came and said "Well bad news is that there's no hot water, good news is you will have some for tomorrow morning". Then just said have a good night and left. Number one reason for going here, shot.
As soon as we called to try and move our room, we were greeted with an entire change of tone from Donna (front desk person). We are not "karens". We were polite to the staff the entire time. We simply just wanted a hot tub that worked. Forget the dinner, forget the lack of view, forget the sex toys in the middle of the gift shop... just hot water. They couldn't change our room so we asked to leave with a refund (We were there for four hours tops and its 7:30 at night). My wife checked us out the same night, and said that she was talked down and over by Donna. I thought "It couldn't be that bad... lets just get her home".
On the way home we had to work with the "resort" and Expedia for a refund. Then I heard how Donna spoke to my wife. I almost turned around half way home to scream at Donna. Completely unprofessional, talking over her and being blatantly dismissive. I cannot believe this person works in customer service. It was like the one restaurant you go to were the staff are rude on purpose as a joke and your expecting to be treated badly.
We legit laughed the entire way home... cause it was that absurd. I cannot believe people have given this more than one star.

Just wanted to put a review up to warn any couples considering a get away at this location. For some context me and my girl stayed at cove haven a few years back so we knew what to expect outdated, not much going on etc.. But we did not expect this. To Start off our room was run down out dated and not sanitary. To get in the room you almost had to kick the door down it was an outdated room but it’s almost like they don’t care whoever the maintenance manager is should be fired. There was curtains hanging off the wall, Wall paper peeling from the ceiling,The pool was cold and did not seem as if there was any chlorine in or cleaning done, the jacuzzi tub was un usable once you would turn the jets on black mold/unknown substances would shoot out me and my girl cleaned it three time and it was still doing it!!! So we felt gross decided to shower turned on the shower and after 5 minutes the thing was over flowing we went to grab a towel, then the towel rack fell out the wall i understand management doesn’t want to spend millions on remodeling but some of these fixes could be done cheap if management had the care and will to make it a better experience for guests. So let’s continue to the activities there basically is none at this “resort” there is a bar you can go to play bingo and they have a game room but nothing worked the mini golf is a toddler set up the bowling was broken and that about rapped up the activity’s we were there in January. Then dinner This was a huge let down cove haven had a good dinner this place was not that i’m a manager in food service and can tell this food is cooked before hand by the mass and kept in warmers that i don’t even think they were up to temp with food safety regulations due to food being cold to luke warm at best, salad bar was good and dessert was good but the steak was like from one of those rib eye trucks terrible quality. All in all me and my girl could not stay here paid 500+ plus for one night and couldn’t even use any amenities they should be ashamed to call themselves a couples resort it’s more like a motel
at this point due to the greedy ones running the show from the top. I do want to thank the manager matthew for being understanding, our server was nice so was the lady’s at the front desk and the gift shop. I feel this place is like this strictly from upper management not giving the workers proper tools to succeed cause it’s clear to see they don’t care about this property.
