Do not recommend! This is our 3rd time staying in the champagne tower room spead out over 25 years. This time was the worst. The room was so dirty. Everywhere we stay i always wipe everything down with lysol wipes. This suite was by far the dirtiest my wipes have ever been! We didnt use the pool, you could see rust all over the metal. You could see stuff floating in the water. We didnt use the champagne tower hot tub, you could see the plaster chipped off around the jets. It also had a big crack on the outside of the tub visible in the livingroom. Everything is in desperate need of a good cleaning and updating. Its a real shame because this place use to be so nice

Paradise Stream is a great couples resort for some nice time to just get away and relax with your spouse. Location is great not to far off the beaten path yet secluded especially the champagne tower suites. Service is fantastic and top notch. Donna at the front desk is fabulous and such warm smile as soon as you get there. Dining staff is fantastic especially Justin. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is good for you. Bartenders are great as well. Maintenence staff and most of the staff are super friendly. Lisa is a great manager and makes sure things run smoothly. The rooms are dated and upgrades can definitely be used, but the room was very clean and the lighting above the bed and champagne tubs all worked making a great ambience. The water pressure was great too and we never ran out of hot water. All in all we will continue to go to the Stream for a nice couples getaway.

Let me start off with the fact that this was a first visit to paradise stream resort but we have stayed at Cove Haven resort, albeit years ago (2011).
My husband and I stayed at Paradise Stream Resort this past week Mon-Wed) and it was anything but Paradise! Upon check in at 3:15pm (we were 15 min early) we were told we needed to wait for our room, it wasn't ready yet. Ok we're early so we got that! But, what we didnt appreciate was the fact the desk staffs attitude or their talking nasty about other guests that had just walked away and the fact that we didn't actually get a room until around 5 pm.
We had a Garden of Eden room, #316. This room came with a whirlpool tub, fireplace and pool inside it.
When entering the room you are smacked in the face with the smell of mold. We asked for a different room and we were told they were full. We decided to rough it out. Bad idea! We went into the pool and realized there was black mold on the carpet. So we didn't get to enjoy the pool or the sauna as it is in the same space. The whirlpool tub had white residue in it! I cleaned this myself with my own cleaning supplies from my vehicle. This way I knew it was actually clean. The floors were slimy and when you wiped your feet black stuff came off on a towel. Asked multiple times for it to be cleaned and it didn't happen.
The entertainment was nothing but a DJ playing in a small portion of the night club! The first night we didn't hear 1 song that was newer than 1980. The second night was slightly better as they were taking requests.
We did enjoy the games with our CXO Tre though he was great!
We got the breakfast and dinner included option. We didn't enjoy anything that we ate except the Salad bar, Lava Cake and Cheesecake.
We expected this resort to be dated but we expected it to be clean! We expected the same level of entertainment, food and service as past experiences as well!
Maybe Cove Haven would have been the better choice but we had never been to this property and wanted a change. But, Sadly we will not be returning to Paradise Stream Resort or any of the other properties owned by them so we'll never know if they have all declined this bad!

Do not book here, you have been warned.
We booked the champagne tower room for Valentine's Day and made our deposit around a month in advance. We called the morning of our stay to check on everything and were told everything was fine. I again confirmed with them that we were coming from over four hours out and that we would be checking in later that evening.
On the way there we realized that we would be too late for the last dinner reservation at 8PM and called to check on options. Not only was there zero flexibility, but they then told us that they had overbooked and that the room we booked was not available. We were given zero explanation as to how this happened. They offered to downgrade us to a different suite for the full Valentine's Day weekend price of that other room which was not even $100 less than the $750 room we had booked. They gave us no warning about the room and at this point we were already over three hours from home, in a snow storm, and we were reassured that they would do something special with the room to make up for it and it was "exactly the same" as our booked room outside of the aesthetics of the tub. They have packages for the room that could include champagne, rose petals, chocolate covered cherries, bath robes, etc. We later found out that the only special thing they did for the room was spread around $5 of rose pedals and put two champagne glasses with no champagne in the room. Classic bait and switch to get us to accept an over priced room we would have never booked with minimal effort.
We did get them to let us order dinner, knowing exactly when we would be in at 9PM, but they refused to take it to the room. They had it in a styrofoam box at the front desk without proper silverware and despite asking the temp for my prime rib managed to package it so it was well done. The boy at the front desk argued with me that it was impossible to have it at the right temp, which is simply not true and is a terrible customer service strategy, but regardless they were the ones that asked me for the temp, then had it well done.
The comedian booked for the lounge was not the one advertised at booking and was not good.
The bar staff couldn't get us proper silverware, despite me being able to walk the additional 50 steps to the front desk to acquire knives.
The bar drinks were massively overpriced and the lowest quality. $30 for a single poor Manhattan and Mojito.
A van used by a 135lbs boy in a hoodie who identified themselves as "security" before refusing to give their name blocked off the parking lot preventing getting to our room with the door wide open and then acted aggressive and insulting when I asked if he was a cab or if it was policy to block the whole road.
The room was not equivalent in any way to what was booked, and looked like it was the set of a bad 80s adult film. Minerals were in the tub, not as a stain, but because no one properly cleaned the room. The bed was very small. The "pool" was a thimble and smelled of too many bad decisions.
Donna at the front desk was the only staff that acted like she had any idea what customer service was, and she was able to refund us so we could drive 4 hours home at midnight in a blizzard. "security" was at the front desk rolling his eyes and looking like he was considering how he couldn't find a better place to work after juvie. We chose the blizzard and a 4 hour drive. That's how bad it was.
I wish I got better pictures and videos, but I was so frustrated that I couldn't manage to think about sharing the details and that I would need to capture evidence of the comedy of failures I was seeing. Everything was tacky, faux-luxe, divorced dad energy, dirty mirror grossness. Take my word, do not book.

This place has always been on my bucket list, and we finally booked it for Valentine’s Day weekend.
From the moment we arrived, everyone we interacted with was welcoming and kind. The staff truly made us feel comfortable and taken care of.
The food for both breakfast and dinner was very good. From what we understand, they recently changed their menu and chef — and we had no complaints at all.
Yes, the rooms are outdated. I do agree with others that the property feels run down and could definitely use a makeover. With some updates, this place would easily be booked 24/7. That said, this Valentine’s weekend was fully booked, so it clearly still holds a special place for many couples.
The Champagne Glass jacuzzi tub was AWESOME. The sauna was great as well.
The fireplace was such a nice touch for a romantic occasion — especially with the red lighting and the lighted stars on the ceiling. It really added to the whole vibe.
Tip: Stop at a local Walmart or Lowe’s and grab a box of fire logs. We used two a night for four nights, and it helped keep the room warmer overnight since the heat struggled a bit keeping up with how cold it was outside.
The only downside for us was that the heart-shaped pool was too cold to enjoy, which was disappointing since we were really looking forward to that.
One more tip: when using the fireplace, you’ll need to keep the front door slightly open due to backdraft — otherwise the room can get smoky.
Overall, we’re glad we finally experienced it and created the memories we’ve always talked about. 💕
