Hilton has done a nice job with this location, its beautiful. Staff is lacking in front of house. Uncomfortable welcome, your presence is bothersome. Food prices are very inhospitable as well. The facility had unruly characters constantly around entrance and parking lot. Not a family friendly atmosphere. We avoided the FOH staff like the plague.

Rooms are more of a 2.5 star rating. Need updating. Lobby and lounge are ok. The biggest let down is the thermostat. It just does not do what you want it to. Even when you try turning it off, it still blows cold air even in the winter. I see others complaining about this as well.

How the mighty has fallen!
This was long regarded as a premium hotel. We have stayed here previously with generally good experiences
Its been a few years and the changes are all in a poor direction
Lobby is still attractive, as is the bar
Restaurant is now poorly maintained, makes a poor impression. Restuarant hours are now so limited that we never made even a single meal in the 4 nights we stayed
Rooms are now very run down
Furniture is old and worn
Bed was so old and worn we woke frequently from back pain
Bathroom sink was old and had 3 large cracks that someone attempted to seal poorly with epoxy
Shower door would not close so we had to mop up bathroom floor after each shower
Room was dirty, obvious layer of dust on all furniture especially bedside night tables
Even the lobby bar was a substandard experience. Bartenders had an attitude we might expect in NYC, not in KOP
We ordered Old Fashioneds, pour was so tiny I could only laugh, and charged $20 each. Bar also seemed to set their own hours closing when business got slow
There was also loud noise several mornings, even Sunday morning, sounded like repairs being made to rooms on lower floor
Overall, hotel needs extensive renovation
Management appears absent or disinterested
We will choose a newer and better run hotel for our next visit to KOP

My daughter and I did a weekend get away and stayed at The Alloy King of Prussia - a DoubleTree by Hilton from Oct 17 - 19, 2025.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The location is so convenient to so many things. Frank, our shuttle driver, couldn't have been more kind and he was so personable. Felt very safe with him driving.
I will mention I have a fragrance sensitivity and so cleaning supplies affect my breathing and can cause an asthma flare up. I do not let hotels know ahead of time because they have to use cleaning supplies to clean and there are no fragrance free cleaners. Usually, by the time I get to a room, it's aired out. My room at the Alloy King had been freshly cleaned (and they did a fantastic job). I needed help to get the air conditioner fan on to help circulate the air and help it air out. I found a nice employee by the name of Darryl who happily helped me with the fan. He even brought a door wedge to help me keep the door open for a few mins. He actually made his manager James, aware of the circumstances regarding my fragrance sensitivity. James came to the room with Darryl and he asked me if there is anything that they could do to help me, I let them know I will be fine once everything airs out which it already was. Darryl asked me if he could get us anything and he ended up bringing us 2 sodas which was so very kind of him.
I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the kindness of the staff at this hotel. Front desk staff was also very pleasant and friendly. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. There were no issues at all, the place was clean, the elevators worked perfectly, and even the bar near the lounge area was just lovely. A++++ to the Alloy King of Prussia!

We stayed for 2 nights. No one made up our room and we had to request clean towels to be delivered. The ice makers on floors 4-6 were not working and we had to take the elevators to the 3rd floor. No one was at the Starbucks store to make coffee or help with using the kiosk to pay for soda. Our room for handicapped was far from the elevator. No free breakfast! And they make you pay for close parking spaces, even for handicapped! We will not return!
