This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Guy at desk barely speaks English, had to wait 20 minutes to check in while he was on the phone. My room is filled with stains, my heater does not work and is blowing on cold air while it’s set to 82. I asked to switch rooms I was told no, he comes to my room to try and fix it and can’t get it to work. Instead of letting me switch rooms he brings me a small floor heater and plugs into my wall which half the outlets don’t work and is a fire hazard.. place is a joke

Small room but everything provided. Front person couldn’t find my room in the system. Turned out the place misspelled my last name. The guy helping was not patient. I finally showed him my room on my phone. Room was very expensive due to a graduation at IUP.

I'll start off by saying that I am not a picky hotel person. We usually stay at lower price hotels when visiting this area. But we have stayed twice a month at another Holiday Inn Express for the past 2 years and we had points to use. Assumed this would be of the same caliber......NOT AT ALL! Of note the pics on the Google ad are not of this particular hotel. Only the second pic was the actual hotel. The hallways give false indication. We had to change rooms 3 times. The first room was dirty, worn, carpet torn, cobwebs from ceiling, marks and dirt all over the walls and baseboards in bathroom. The bathroom was so small you could barely get in and shut the door. There was an extremly strong smell that i couldn't place as well, so bad it immediately starting bothering my asthma. Went and asked for another room. Counter person seemed to not be surprised by my complaints any of the times I went down. Second room was very similar in condition, with the addition of a large spot on the wall that looked like someone threw a drink on it and it ran down a few feet and clearly was not cleaned. Along with us pulling the bed covers off to find stains on the sheets. Went back down and asked for yet another room. Third room was about the same as the first for the most part minus the smell but with the addition of mold spots on the bathroom ceiling. It became apparent this was just likely how the whole place was. Sheets appeared clean so we just stayed bc it was late and we were only there one night. Upon checkout I requested our points back due to the situation. Was told to call back and speak to manager. Called back twice and never received a call in return. Will NEVER stay here again.

This place is way to expensive to have so many systems down!
* No hot water in our rm ( had to move)
* The swimming pool was broken
* The juice machine during breakfast was broken
* no maintenance staff to fix broken items he only comes once a month
* friendly staff, but an uncomfortable stay.
