  This place is a hot mess !!!!! I waited a month to give them a chance to fix this like they said they would but they didn’t instead Zach has decided to not answer any emails or follow up . I feel like I was very chill since I work in customer service too hints why I waited to post this . 1st problem —- checking in was an absolute nightmare!!!!! Ebar I believe was his name is clueless, We get our room key and it doesn’t work . I go back to the front desk and tell him he says try it again you’re not using it right and shows me how to use it lol I was using it right . I try again anyway guess what it didn’t work so I go back down to tell him and he gives me a new key and that one didn’t work either so I went back down again . He comes up with me to make sure we are using the key right and it doesn’t work lol . He uses his master key to let us in and says here I’ll give you this key ( the hotel master key ) I said not thank you that’s a safety and security issue and he says to my boyfriend come down I’ll give you a new key . He goes down gets a new key guess what that doesn’t work ! We call down tell EBar and he sends maintenance up and the lock battery is dead they said which doesn’t make sense because the master key worked . We use the bathroom real fast because now this is 45 mins to an hour and it’s not even clean ! They call down and he tells them move us to a different room . Problem # 2 — we get into the new room the bathroom wasn’t clean the toilet still had pee on it ! So I cleaned it because I’m done at this point and tired we already drove 4 hours with a 3yr and 3 teenagers! Problem # 3 —— I get ready to lay down and feel this hard ish thing so I pick it from off the flat sheet to see what it is and it’s a dogs nail !!!! Ewww gross I take the sheets and blankets off and toss them on the floor it’s now 11ish at night. Thank god I bring my own blankets ! Problem # 4 —— The doors that close they are barn style slide doors are off track we call down to let them know so we aren’t charged and he asked us if we could bring them to the hallway . I’m sorry we don’t work there so no ! I had my teens lift them up and put them back on track but they wouldn’t stay on track . Problem #5 —- The freeze was so frozen it was built up we couldn’t even put anything in it and we do actually use the freeze . There was also someone’s snacks in the cabinet that they never cleaned out ! Problem #6 The manger Zach will say he that he will do something and never do it ! He acts like he’s nice and cares but he doesn’t !!! I will say there was a super nice girl that was working and I wish I remembered her name she was there the entire time after we checked in and talked to use and felt bad . She is the only reason I’m giving this 2 stars because we liked her !!!! If you see this girly you were awesome and deserve a raise for dealing with the management because they suck !!! If you wondering why we didn’t leave the hotel well it was NYE weekend and we got this one a month before on booking for a great price and everything was 800 plus at this point . Wasn’t really in our budget . Now before you read this and think wow she has nothing better to do I have NEVER put a bad review up ever ! I did talk to management about it and was told I would be refunded and they would be in touch but they never did that and they don’t answer emails ! I emailed them 3x and nothing !

  Very disappointing stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Hershey. The property feels extremely run down and poorly maintained. Our room was visibly dirty, with heavy dust buildup in the corners of the bathroom, the ceiling falling apart, and a rusted bathtub. The most unacceptable issue was finding a blood stain on the bedsheet. When we reported this to guest services, they did not offer to change rooms or properly address the situation instead, they handed us a clean sheet and told us to change it ourselves. That response was shocking and completely inappropriate, especially given the hygiene concerns. This was not the level of cleanliness or service we expect from a Hampton Inn. Until major improvements are made in cleanliness, maintenance, and staff response, I would not recommend staying here.

  Hotel location was very close to Hershey Park attractions. Room was nice. Hotel itself was good. Staff was friendly. Only somewhat annoyed with other guests staying nearby that left trash bags outside our door and dirty linen in hallways each morning we stayed there. Not sure why you would do that...what is wrong with people? . Its gross. If you really needed your room cleaned or trash removed common sense is to just ask the hotel stafff and im sure someone would take care of it. I did report this to the staff at the desk and they took care of it.
