  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently stayed at Tru by Hilton in Hazleton, and overall I had a fantastic experience. The property is about a year old, and it truly feels brand new. Everything — from the parking lot to the rooms — looks pristine, modern, and very thoughtfully designed. The reception and lobby area are absolutely beautiful. It’s one of the prettiest hotel common areas I’ve seen. The space is bright, stylish, and extremely well laid out. There are multiple seating areas, modern lounge spots, and even private cubicle-style workstations where guests can bring their laptops and work comfortably. It feels contemporary, welcoming, and functional at the same time. They also have a brand-new gym, washer and dryer facilities, and a really nice touch outside the gym — a complimentary water station. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 near the reception desk, which is another thoughtful feature I appreciated. Breakfast was very good — typical hotel breakfast offerings, but well done. I enjoyed scrambled eggs and especially their thick yogurt, which was excellent. The breakfast area, like the rest of the lobby, is modern and spotless-looking. The rooms are also brand new and beautifully designed. I loved the small details — the TV greeted me with my name when I walked in, which felt like a very classy touch. There are three coat hooks for jackets and scarves (a small detail, but very practical), and the room includes a mini fridge, which is always a plus. Overall, the room layout is smart and comfortable. Now, I do need to mention something important. While the hotel itself is excellent, my particular room was unfortunately not cleaned properly. I found dried fluid on my nightstand (visible in my photos), facial hair around the bathroom sink and on the wooden stand beneath it, and multiple hairs on the shower walls and floor. That part was honestly very disappointing and uncomfortable. It made me question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned before my arrival. That said, I truly believe this was an oversight — either a one-off cleaning error or a management issue that can easily be corrected. Everything else about the property was so impressive that I don’t believe this reflects the hotel as a whole. I simply happened to be unlucky this time. Despite that unfortunate situation, I would absolutely stay here again. The hotel itself is modern, beautiful, comfortable, and very well designed. The parking lot is spacious and convenient, and the overall atmosphere is excellent. I highly recommend Tru by Hilton Hazleton to anyone visiting the area — just hoping management tightens up room inspections so every guest gets the full five-star experience this property clearly deserves.

  Yess I absolutely love them they make it feel like home and they actually have conversations with you the manger is a great person so is the workers and it family oriented which is beautiful food is great everything bout this place is great thank you for letting me stay there I'll be there soon

  We had a very good experience at the Tru Hazleton. This hotel is only around a week old, so everything is fresh and up-to-date. We also appreciate that the hotel isn't snobby and is pet-friendly which was great since we brought our dog along. The breakfast was good and had oatmeal; either scrambled eggs or frittatas depending on the day; mini-sausages; yogurt; granola; Raisin Bran; Froot Loops; Cheerios; bacon; hardboiled eggs; pancakes with walnuts, strawberries, whipped cream, and various differently-flavored syrups; butter and jelly and other common spreads; and bread and bagels. The staff was very friendly, especially one of them who showed us all the breakfast buffet offerings and fixed one of the fitness center treadmills for us when it wasn't working. We forgot her name unfortunately, but my brother recalls it may have been Tori or something similar-sounding. As for the fitness center, it had two treadmills, an elliptical, a Peloton, dumbbells and kettlebells, a dance barre, I believe yoga mats, and some sort of weight lifting apparatus. Essentially a standard hotel fitness center with some unique extras. As for the room, it was pretty good. We had 2 queens. It was modern-looking and had a mini-fridge and big TV. The floors had a wood veneer finish instead of some nasty carpet. There was no coffee maker or microwave, but they had a coffee station in the lobby. However, I don't recall seeing a microwave in the lobby, though perhaps there was and I never noticed. The lobby was nice with some comfy-looking seating and a pool table (no swimming pool though). They also had a business center in the lobby with one computer which seemed a bit skimpy for an 80-room hotel, but it looked like perhaps there were plans to put a second computer in. I don't remember whether there was a printer or not. We have a few other complaints to mention, mainly with the laundry setup. The machines only took quarters, and there was no bill-to-coin machine in the laundry room. The front desk was happy to exchange, but it was still a bit inconvenient since it was on a separate floor from the laundry room. Additionally, one washer and one dryer seemed to not be enough. Perhaps they could replace the current units with stacked washers and dryers. They also didn't have detergent, so my dad had to go to the Turkey Hill nearby and get some. However, that was earlier on in our stay when the hotel had just opened, so I don't blame them for probably worrying about more important things. They also didn't have towels in the fitness center but I don't blame them for the same reason. Both elevators were also not working right, as whenever you called one to go down from the second floor, the lantern would light up to say the elevator was going up, even if no one was taking it up. Overall, this hotel was very nice with only minor issues and also was a good value compared to hotels like the Residence Inn next-door. We will be back.

  The interior is beautiful — everything feels new, modern, and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
