Keep in mind when you check in you have to pay a 50 dollar incidental ok not bad I’m originally told it will take up to 5 days for your refund excluding weekends. I said ok. 5th day comes nothing. I call asking if I checked out wrong because I’m not understanding why this is still pending. Now it’s 7-10 days. It’s currently the 9th day I called to speak to the general manager and instead of speaking directly to her she relays the message to the front desk telling me I have to wait 2-3 more days more again excluding weekends. I go up there again now I’m told 30-35 days. Still have not spoken to the general manager. So my experience is starting not to be a good one. If my bank is telling me they have not release the funds and you’re saying it is released then what’s the issue. I shouldn’t have to keep calling for a refund when I was told 5 days. And if I’m not mistaken I feel like I know who the manager is and that I spoke to her originally after the 5 days and she seemed very short with me. I let that go as well because maybe I perceived it wrong. My thing is they don’t know what people are going through. I am also an ihg member so to have to wait 30+ days especially when I had plans to continuously use them while I work is very frustrating. No other hotel do I have to wait 30 days including holiday in . I will be taking this all the way to corporate.

Our work reserved rooms for us to stay in for the night because the weather was TERRIBLE and none of us were going to be able to make it home. Got to the hotel where we were informed they were cancelling our reservation because we live within 40 miles from the hotel! Mind you the roads are straight ice. It’s sleeting. It’s 8:30 at night. We’re sliding all over the roads. It’s completely unsafe driving conditions. Now you’re telling me we’re not aloud to stay? No where on the website does it say any of this nor was anyone informed when we called in. Our work is five minutes from the hotel. Of course we’re all gonna live within 40 miles. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be aloud a room. Especially in this weather.

Whoever owns this hotel desperately needs to upgrade it. The carpet in the room was very old, mold around the caulk in the bathroom, shower head calcified and the dust in the heater was extreme. I don’t blame the workers I blame ownership because neglect like this starts from the top. The only thing positive was the workers were nice and it’s by the thruway.

This location is terrible, especially the front desk clerk Chelsea and the manage on duty that day. We checked in on a Sunday, and extended our stay til Friday that week because my son was to complete chemo therapy. The room had feces on the toilet and the sheets were dirty, tired from the 6 hour drive up from NC we allowed the night shift employee to clean the room and give us new sheets and we were promised 2000 IHG points for the inconvenience. We left the hotel early Tuesday morning to check into the hospital across the street. Around we noon I came back to the hotel only to find our things were taking from the room and we were denied to continue our stay. They called the police on us because I demanded to have an understanding as to why would the only option be to put us out of the hotel and the rooms were paid for. The hotel stated that local residents within a 40mile radius could not rent. I explained that I reside in NC and provided proof, due to the situation with my I’ll son I just hadn’t the time to switch things over, this wasn’t good enough. I was met with a smart attitude and the police called. They did not return my incidentals, never awarded the points, and our money for the three nights left paid for has yet to be returned. The manager stated it’s not her problem my child has to go through chemo rules are rules. How could this be someone’s attitude in a position of authority and nothing was done wrong on our end other than booking with this awful establishment. We were able to locate most of our belongings but there are a few things still missing. Worse experience ever and corporate needs to look over these reviews, know one seems to have a kind word to say about this location. I would not recommend this place. If I could give less than one star I would. No regards to the harm caused by takin out money and leaving us with no where else to go.
