    I stayed at the Candlewood Suites Harrisburg-Hershey (Room 412, Oct 17–19, 2025) and was very disappointed. The room was visibly dirty—carpets and counters hadn’t been cleaned, the coffee maker and dishes were filthy, and dust covered most surfaces. The bathroom was not properly sanitized, and we were told towels were limited and there was no hand or body soap available. Only one staff member was on duty all weekend, and no manager was available to resolve these issues. Having previously worked for Candlewood Suites and other hotel brands, I expected far better from IHG. I’ve contacted both IHG Corporate and Booking.com but haven’t received a response. I hope management addresses these concerns so future guests don’t experience the same.

    Had a reservation here, along with other family members, well the day of check in the general manager went above and beyond. The family we were traveling with booked a different Candlewood suites in the area. Nila went above and beyond to make sure we were all together. If that’s not superior customer service I don’t know what is. Thank so much again Nila !!

    Extraordinary Stay Thanks to Pam at Candlewood Suites IHG! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine care — all thanks to Pam at the front desk. I live with severe anxiety, and checking into hotels can sometimes feel overwhelming. But Pam turned what could’ve been a stressful experience into one of the smoothest, most comforting check-ins I’ve ever had. She was incredibly personable, taking the time to talk to me like an old friend rather than just another guest. Her calm, friendly demeanor instantly put me at ease, and she made me feel truly welcomed — like I was part of the Candlewood family. It’s rare to come across someone who not only does their job well but does it with genuine compassion and heart. Pam is a shining example of what exceptional customer service looks like. Because of her, I’ll absolutely be returning and recommending this location to everyone I know. Thank you, Pam, for turning a simple check-in into a moment of real comfort and care. You made my day brighter, and I can’t thank you enough for that. 🌟

    When we first checked in, we had to switch rooms 4 different times, and even the last room we took ended up having issues later noticed. The hotel needs major renovations. Such as new beds and their plumbing redone. The beds are lumpy and old, the first room we checked into didnt even have a working shower. The water took 30 minutes to even start feeling warm. There is only one elevator, and it also sounds sketchy when you are in it. Most of the staff is very nice. The one morning, I had one guy at the front desk taking a personal phone call and being rude while I was waiting for assistance. The other 2 front desk ladies in the evening are absolutely amazing and sweet. I just wish more TLC was put into this hotel, because it is definitely showing neglect. I shouldn't have to switch rooms 4 times in order to have a working shower, a working tv, or a clean room. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the women at the front desk.
