    The absolute worst hotel, so not stay here!! Room on a cold snowy day started out at 56 degrees, 5 hours later finally warmed up.

    Simple review. Here is a list of issues we had over a 5 day stay… No toilet paper Dirty dishes in the dishwasher No dishwasher soap Dirty frying pan Old coffee in coffee maker TV power plug was unplugged HDMI to TV was unplugged Loads of trash left next to elevator on our floor for 2 days till we asked to remove it. Twice our door cards failed to work and I know not to put my phone near them Top Dresser drawer wouldn’t stay closed Coat hook on wall about to fall out Blistering paint in bathroom. The American flag was slightly tattered but knotted to it was the company flag.

    I stayed at the Candlewood Suites Harrisburg-Hershey (Room 412, Oct 17–19, 2025) and was very disappointed. The room was visibly dirty—carpets and counters hadn’t been cleaned, the coffee maker and dishes were filthy, and dust covered most surfaces. The bathroom was not properly sanitized, and we were told towels were limited and there was no hand or body soap available. Only one staff member was on duty all weekend, and no manager was available to resolve these issues. Having previously worked for Candlewood Suites and other hotel brands, I expected far better from IHG. I’ve contacted both IHG Corporate and Booking.com but haven’t received a response. I hope management addresses these concerns so future guests don’t experience the same.

    Had a reservation here, along with other family members, well the day of check in the general manager went above and beyond. The family we were traveling with booked a different Candlewood suites in the area. Nila went above and beyond to make sure we were all together. If that’s not superior customer service I don’t know what is. Thank so much again Nila !!
