- JDJohn DiGirolamoNov 21, 20254.0The rooms were updated & very clean. Staff at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. The smell of chlorine on the first floor was overwhelming. Beware of the chlorine levels in the pool. We traveled for a youth sports competition and 20+ athletes had chemical burns,, eyes swollen shut,, several asthma attacks & throat swelling due to the hotel pool being "overly" treated. This is a week later and chemical burns are scabbing and peeling,, several still cannot eat anything hot or cold due burns in the throat. Chlorine toxicity led to chlorine poisoning. I understand this was a mistake. Hotel staff finally shut down the pool upon my request. And without hesitation offered to refund our group for our stay. They were very pleasant & apologetic. Would recommend as long as the pool is safe. If you don't plan on swimming then I definitely recommend
