- NKnancy Keenan3 days ago3.0I was a little disappointed during my stay at The Hampton Inn & Suites Chadds Ford. On three occasions during our stay, there was no one at the front desk to assist me. When I asked if our room was ready at 12 o'clock, I was told there would be a $50 fee to check in early. Once I got to our room, I noticed dust on all the lamp shades and then asked to change rooms when the toilet seat which was yellow and quite worn (!) could not be changed. The room I was moved to was not much better. I am just used to much better at Hampton Inn & Suites. I will be looking to stay at other hotels in the area the next time I come to Longwood Gardens.

They actually have the continental breakfast back- with the eggs, sausage, pancakes, made to order waffles, juice, etc. that everyone got rid of during covid, so be excited! Bed was a little stiff for me, but to each their own. My only issue is that I came specifically for the hot tub and pool and the hot tub was out of order and the pool was a little too cool for me. Also, the pool lift wasn't working, so if you have disabilities, they won't be able to accommodate you at this time- please call in advance to ensure it's working before booking.

- TCTexas CitizenDec 24, 20253.0The outside looks refreshed with new paint. The room did not have a microwave and looked old. There are shipping containers out back so hopefully the rooms are being remodeled soon. The hot tube is being renovated and the pool water was cloudy.

Hotel while clean would definitely benefit from some renovations in both the rooms and common areas especially by elevators.
