It was a truly wonderful experience. The bedroom was comfortable, well-appointed, and exceeded my expectations. The staff provided outstanding service throughout my stay—they were attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Whenever I needed anything, they responded promptly and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. I genuinely felt well taken care of and would gladly return.

We had a double and the room was decent size for the three of us. The beds were moderately comfortable. I wouldn’t say above average or below either. The bathroom was split with sink out in the room and the toilet and shower in a small room behind a door. There was a small microwave and fridge. I did like the desk.
The one negative was the lack of light or outlets around the bed. Everything was on the small table in the middle of the beds.
The location is solid. It’s super close to a few places to eat, like in the same parking lot, and also just across the way from a Wegmans and Target. It’s easy to get on route 30 or 422. Close enough to West Chester or other mainline areas.

These crooks charged me. They said it was 360 yet charged me 480, then I booked another night and they said it was declined. Wouldn't let me stay and their corporates said, oh, that's not true. Your bank had a promissory to pay that and they charged me. For a day that they would not let me stay there. And they refuse to refund the money that they stole. So if you want to go to a hotel that you're going to get horrible customer service. They're going to double charge you and then refuse to refund. You your money, that's owed to you. This is the spot for you.

Ah where to start.. I travel often for work and I am a very specific person when it comes to sleep. The little things make the biggest difference. I've stayed at many different Hotels in this area throughout the years but this one stood out to me the most. The bed is as perfect as could be when its not your own.. not too firm not too soft. The sheets are high quality (Im super sensitive to cheap/low quality sheets and detergents) The blinds have built in frame room darkening curtains so no outside light comes in through the sides as theres no cracks its basically nighttime until you open the blinds. The TV is built into the wall with the streaming services easily ready to go with the scan of your accounts QR code. Ahhhh the breakfast bar.. super simple but again the little things! they have a tray of hardboiled eggs that are already peeled for you, hot oatmeal, strong coffee that grinds the beans onsite and random hot cinnamon rolls if thats your thing. I never took the time ever to write a hotel review but this one deserves it for the same price point as many others in the area you are getting an exceptional stay. 10/10 would come back next work trip.

I stayed at this hotel in February 2024 and February 2025. My stay was fine and the location was close to a retreat I attended both years. Unfortunately they stole my money in 2025. I was sick and canceled the room the day before, within the cancellation policy. The next day I felt well enough to go, so I rebooked the room. They charged me for both rooms but did not notify me. They acted as if I cancelled the first room after the cancellation window, but I know that is not the case because I triple checked the cancellation policy. Unfortunately I did not notice the extra charge in my bank account until much later. I called and spoke with Karen, the general manager. She gave me a really hard time and offered me several contradictory excuses that didn't make sense, like she couldn't refund my money because I accepted cookies on my browser when I made the reservation. Her customer service was quite unprofessional. She finally agreed to look into it and call me back the next day, but never did. I disputed the charge with my bank, but I hadn't saved the email with the cancellation policy, so they couldn't do anything. I found out Holiday Inn Express is a franchise, so each one is independently operated and the company at large takes no responsibility. I made the mistake of assuming the big name meant I would be treated fairly. I didn't think a hotel could get away with this kind of fraud in 2025! I don't recommend anyone stay here due to the lack of integrity and customer service.
